Honestly, the Usagi crossover is the only issue I'd be okay with them skipping in the hardcover volumes. It did essentially nothing for the Turtles' story; it'd be better off in a Usagi collection.

My quick guess for Vol 9 is TMNTUniverse 9-15 and #67-72 from ongoing. Probably not going to include the Usagi crossover. I wonder if Karai will have the cover or what it will be?

Volume 10: (Krang) Dimension X, 2017 FCBD, U#19-20, #73-75, TMNT/Ghostbusters2 Volume 11: (Casey) #76-80, U#16-18, U#21-25 I've got a predictive spreadsheet I update every story arc or so, mapping color, character, and content. I'm a bit obsessed with these hardbacks.

So after Casey do you think we would get the turtles again on a cover? Maybe as a group? Or will other characters get a shot at the cover? Also do you think maybe Vol 13 or 14 will have #100? |

I'd like to think IDW will keep using recognizable characters for covers before they start retreading the Turtles. As for what's included in future volumes... no way to know, the way IDW keeps surprising us with all these extra mini-series!

I'm on mobile at the moment and feeling lazy, do either of you have the rundown of who has appeared on all the hardcover volumes released so far?

I am obsessed with these chronology-based collections as well, so here are my predictions for volumes 9-11:
Volume 9 (pre-Dim X stuff) - TMNT #67-72 - Universe #9-15 + 19-20 (Bobby confirmed, that this arc takes place before Space adventures) - Usagi Yojimbo Volume 10 (Trial of Krang) - FCBD 2017 - TMNT #73-75 - Dimension X #1-5 - Ghostbusters II #1-5 Volume 11* (Invasion of Triceratons + Aftermath) - TMNT #76-84 - Universe #16-18 + 21-22 * updating... Now I hope that they will arrange all back-ups in the correct order |

I’m confused about when vol 6 will be released. Amazon says April 10th but other retailers say tomorrow March 14th? |

Wondering how they'll implement those, too. The solicit says the volume will include Universe #1-8. That would cut off part 4 of "What is Ninja?", though, unless they're saving that one for the following volume.

The Bookdepository shipped my copy this past Monday so it was already released I think...

Thanks, yeah Amazon is probably just wrong with the date. I wasn’t going to order from them anyway because of poor packing with books. I just check dates of the website and buy from other places.

Thanks Cylons and TurtleWA for the info and images. I haven't even started collecting these hardcovers yet but I'm a huge nerd for chronology/continuity and love discussing the possible hardcover volume breakdowns
Quote:
As far as who would feature on the cover...? That's a hard one, there's so much going on in this volume. I think they might go with Agent Bishop or Karai, depending on who is set to return to the story in a bigger way in the nearer future, as a kind of foreshadowing. But then I guess that same logic could apply to going with a group shot of the Pantheon for this volume's cover Quote:
Krang is a shoo-in for this volumes cover, methinks Quote:
I could see either Rat King or maybe the Pantheon as a whole or Commander Zog featuring on this volume's cover

Volume 6 is available today on Comixology but they skipped Volumes 4 and 5. Don't ask me why...

Simultaneously the decided to release new volumes the same day of the print version release. So since then they retroactively released first 3 volumes (4 и 5 coming soon) and today they release the current one (vol. 6). |

Barnes&Noble and Amazon are saying in the description for the TMNT Color Classics, Vol. 1 releasing next month that its “collected in order and in color for the first time.” I thought the works was in color and went in order until issue #21? So not the first time unless I’m missing something. I wonder if the volumes will continue until the last issue without skipping like the Ultimate Collection and the Works did. Or are these basically the works in paperback form?
