Kinda miffed at this. If I have to wait until freakin' September despite these being available to the public right now over in Cali I'm gonna... bitch about it & move on. I hope it means they will in fact be out in August as initially stated. Still, me wants me toys.

Well on the bright side, we can see some in hand reviews while we wait!

Close, but no cigar.

These look really good, but they're still not 100% toon accurate... they have the border outline around the front yellow plastron, and the belt buckles have a border outline and are indented instead of solid flat. Not a big deal though, definitely better than the Playmates classics. Shredder looks really cool. Only thing that bothers me with these is all the points of articulation interfering with the sculpts, though not as bad as the Playmates classics. I definitely want to get all 5 of these but with the NECA movie turtles coming out around the same time, it would be too many figures to get, so I will probably hold off on these until I get all 4 NECA's and then see if these are still available.

I'm guessing that they had to ship a limited number of cases airmail for the convention. If that is the case, then it will still be weeks or longer for the rest to reach us. So I wouldn't count on them arriving much before Sept.

Here a nice podcast and discussion about these in-hand

Not just a review, which is why I posted it here.

Glad to hear they are quality though I didn't expect any less. Those are some of my least favorite people reviewing anything. I had to stop it because it was so boring and repetitive.

It's a podcast discussion, so it's not straightforward like a review. I had it on as I was Unboxing all my Mythic Legions figures, so it was nice background noise
I understand though, that some might find it annoying.

Anyways, I had a hunch that I'd probably want both the NECA arcade sets AND the Figuarts line, and it sounds from that discussion like I made the right call.
By the time 2017 is half way through, my TMNT display is going to be off the hook!

Yeah, I think it's safe to say I made the right choice pre-ordering the shfiguarts.

I want to see a comparison pic of a Figuarts Turtle with a Playmates Classic Collection Turtle, has anyone seen a pic of that yet?

So today is the last day of SDCC, does anyone think we will get a pre-order date for Shredder soon?
