Someone else mentioned this, but I don't know who Super Goku is. I saw some threads a while back with a banned user name, but I don't know the story, the taunts, the motivation or the legend.

What I do know is that Egon guy was one weird mother #$%^&*.

Hopefully. We’re living in the digital age, this isn’t 2002 anymore. They’ll give it a theatrical release later but release it straight online digitally.

The best part of this is it sets a precedent for the rest of Hollywood. Movies coming out directly digitally even if they come out the same time as the theater is the way to go. We’re not living in the VHS era anymore, these days people watch movies on their cell phones on their way to work for goodness sakes.

Except why people even go to the cinemas, if new movies will be available immediately in Internet?

Well they can do both. Some want to see it on a big screen with snacks, others can watch at home or on their cell phone. It’s a direction movies will probably go in during this decade.

I was looking forward to seeing this on the big screen, only caught the last one when it reached movie channels. What was the release date for this again btw? I am thinking it was summer?

It's a different social experience. The "big screen", the food, the friends etc. Hell movie theaters will need to work harder to make it a good experience.

The pandemic is the perfect time for studios to test out if the market is mature enough to try this and if they can make their money back. Hell if they dont' and this becomes the future maybe we'll see lower budgeted movies instead of the bloated garbage that is made nowadays

I mean who doesn't love paying 20.00 for a bag of popcorn and 11.00 for a coke? It's great to sit on dirty seats and have a bunch of strangers chat infront of you while some jag-off kicks the back of your seat.

It's a fantastic experience to be sure.

As not an avid movie goer, I can't understand this. When I went to the cinema it was to see the movie as early as possible. But I am not people's person.

I am sure you are big fan at the parties and never go cheap on food and stuff for your friends.
