When did Steve Lavigne start doing lettering for TMNT?

I've seen 3 different answers for when Steve started lettering for Mirage. One says he started lettering as early as issue 4? When di Steve star doing lettering for TMNT?

Steve started with issue five, but also did lettering on reprinted versions and/or collected versions of 1-4...

Hope that helps.

Did they ever make a Mirage Collection? Like a hardback large volume?
If so, could someone point me in the right direction. Google is failing me.

Thanks!

I was reading the IMDB forums where someone mentioned that in the original Mirage comics Splinter's original Indian master was an alchemist who experimented with drugs and chemicals on him to increase his intelligence. I'm just wondering in what issue does this happen?

Mirage did a limited HC trade/collection of the first 11 issues and the Micro's... it was also done as a sc version with three printings.

Mirage's website would be the best place for info on it.

That someone is smoking crack. That info is wrong.

Don't do drugs.

To anyone who has copies of TMNT Adventures #58 & #71-72 and TMNT Adventures Special #11:

Does the legal information in any of these issues claim that Steve Sullivan and/or Brian Thomas own any characters, and if so, which characters?

Why was Mirage Vol. 1 issue 13 never collected in any of the Ultimate Collections?

Aren't the Ultimate Collections Eastman/Laird stories only?

This may have already been answered, but I'm still at the "Return to New York" arc in the IDW comics (a.k.a. I'm way behind), so I've been avoiding a lot of threads to avoid spoilers.

I'm wondering why "Bebop and Rocksteady Destroy Everything" is five issues and is coming out weekly. I think this is awesome and I am NOT complaining, but I'm curious why this choice was made. It's great to see IDW trying something new.

Just something fun they did to try & cash-in on the current hype for the characters brought on by the new movie.

I finally got my hand on almost all 72 issues of TMNTA and will start reading them soon.

Which spin-off issues would you say are critical to be read along the series?

Thanks!

The Mutanimals series directly crossovers with the main Archie run a number of times.

The Archie #1-11 specials are pretty standalone. They don't affect the main volume. The other mini's are all worth reading too.

I'd say the essential miniseries to go along with the ongoing are:

Mighty Mutanimals mini and ongoing
April O'Neil (the first one, NOT the May East Saga)
Merdude mini (maybe not essential to the narrative, but very enjoyable)
Year of the Turtle (conclusion to the series, so you kind of need it if you want an ending)

The Specials are a mixed bag and very little if anything from them ever appears in the main series in a significant way. May East is trash and is even made non-canonical in a later issue of the series. The Conservation Corps crossover one shot is pretty bad. The Archie crossover one shot is insubstantial and two of the stories in it ware reprinted in TMNT # #71-72, but it isn't a bad read.

So that's what I'd recommend.

Is mirage vol 2 collected in a paperback or hardback yet? If so what is it under? I just finished reading what is collected in the ultimate collection and want to read vol 2 now.
