This is sadly why I've stopped collecting. I never got into the 4 inch figures, and the 6 inchers I do collect are way to rich for my blood anymore, unless I see a character I really want, I guess.

I feel the same. If I break down and spend 20 bucks on a figure, its most likely a Marvel Select figure. Or goddamn huge.

I remember when you could get an awesome 6-inch Marvel Legends figure with a bunch Of accessories for $8. Now all $8 buys you is a little 4-inch figure with a base.

Now all the 6-inchers around are nearly $20. Yesterday I saw a Golden Age Batman Legacy figure with Bat-mite, a small poster, and a stand at K-Mart for $16. In 2004 I bought the Marvel Legends Silver Surfer with board, flying base, comic book and Howard The Duck. All for $8.

We just keep getting less and less, but prices still go higher and higher.

I need to move where you guys are. MU is always $9-10 unless on sale/clearance, here.

EDIT: I remember when my parents told me $3 was too expensive for a Ninja Turtle figure once. lawl.

Need to snag Tygra and Lion-O.

FYI, Toys r us is currently doing a buy 2 for $10.99 deal on all Captain America/Thor/Iron Man/Marvel universe/etc figures.

Might see if I can snag some MU fillers, like Scarlet Spider, 90s Cyclops or Colossus.

I saw their little sale, but sadly, the last four or five times I've been to TRU they've had the exact same stock of MU (and just about everything). That and I'm a bit skint right now. Woe.

Wait, when did Scarlet Spider come out?

A week or so ago. Saw it at target with Doc Strange and Doc Doom.

Similarly, I went to 2 TRUs last night and they had ****all.

Well s**t. I finally just finally tracked down all I wanted of the previous wave at the tail end of last month online, after finding nothing but 1 First Appearance Wolverine and a few Gladiators in stores.

I got the New Blood Jason Voorhees rerelase from NECA.

Great figure, and IMO definitely worth $10.

Picked one of these up at Target today for $12 somethin'. It's nicely articulated.

Yeah, that articulation on Pikachu looks phenomenal.

His eyes look pretty terrible. Ash looks neat though.

Well I was referring to Ash as I'm sure you know. He's pretty decent, especially considering the sh*t quality of most Jakks toys.
My pikachu's nose for example is basically painted into the mouth.
