I love the FiM show, so I'm sure I'll love this movie when I see it on the big screen. From the way its advertised, it seems like this movie could the finale for the show, as season 7 will probably end by the time the movie comes out.

In total, mlp FiM has given us at the very least, 7 seasons with 169 episodes, 4 spin off movies and one feature film coming out. That's quite a legacy for something that started out as a toy commercial.

Really looking forward to this. I love the show.

I know this might be the finale but I hope it's not.

The hype is real! Still watch the show to this day.

I didn't read anything about this being the finale.

Right? I'll never understand it either.

Not really hard to understand, a good show is a good show, and some people don't let things like asthetics get to them

I don't know. I've heard from some people that it is a good show but I just personally don't care. Besides, even if it was a good show, how would you know? How many grown men randomly watch shows aimed at little girls just in case they happened to be turn out to be good shows?

I personally thought it looked cute and watched a couple episodes out of curiosity since it didn't seem like kindergarten material.

Don't you ever just check something out for the fun of it? Who cares who it's "supposed to be for" ?

With regarding Ever After High, I caught an ad on Youtube. It essentially just said that if you don't act like a puppet and follow your lines, you die. So curious, I watch the first season of the show (about 45 minutes) and found the story to catch my attention.

I picked the first Ever After High book (which goes deeper into the first season) and got hooked with the characters and stories, and finding out the mysteries of the world. and despite the rebranding, I'm (for the most part) am enjoying the series 15 books in.

From character's past, to the bestiality, to Bella and Brutta, the death of Blue Fairy's daughter, to a god that is just ****ing with her creations, the series seems to have it all for me.

and it's a goldmine for theories for me (and I don't really jump on the theory wagons)

Is it really a good show though?

I remember when the Hub premiered the hit surprise show ended up being My Little Pony and everyone in /co/ loved it mostly because of the reaction images they were getting and it was a cute show. I tried to love the show but it never clicked like it did with other people. Eventually all these umm...let's call them bronies took the show a little too seriously and then the opinion of the show turned from awesome to creepy. Odd how it happened since originally it was kind of an anticulture thing that made the show cool but then that became into just something like furries.

I only watched the first two seasons which had the original creator of the show and I might've finished the third season but that was it. It was a cute show but that's about it and doesn't deserve so many episodes. Isn't the movie a little too late? Even bronies have kind of died down in recent years and in general the show isn't as hot as it was when it came out or the years following.

I think Lauren Faust was only involved in the first season and the premier of the second.

And I also think I'm the one that spread the fandom to my boyfriend and the other boys I hung out with in high school (thanks to the Autistic Support group making me the only girl most of the time). I fell out around season...fiiiiive? I'm not entirely sure, but I was officially done after the episode with meeting Twilight Sparkle's niece.

I love the show and hope to see another season as good as the 2nd or 4th.

I wish they gave us an actual preview for the movie.

It looks like it might be using G1 characters...I may have dropped out, but I still recognize some of the redesigns by fans enough to know that Fire Fly is in there.

honestly dropped MLP at the 100th episode, moved on with Ever After High...now that's some good ****. Before the rebranding, it was essentially Kamen Rider Gaim of little girl's cartoons.

It just has that right type of ****ed up situation where none of the characters are allowed to have happy childhoods. I find the characters so deep that I could almost drown in them (especially Ginger Breadhouse.)

Is it really hard to understand why people would enjoy ponies?

I mean look at power ranger/tokusatsu, it's a franchise about grown men in spandex beating the **** out of one another

I saw this movie too recently and I absolutely loved it! It was great to hear the cast from the show again, the new characters were fun, and most of all, that Animation was beaaautiful.

I plan on going to see it again, this time with some friends I know who are fans of the show.
