It seems they're gonna air the episodes during the 4 next weeks:

Then the air dates would be like this:

February 5th - Tokka VS. The World
February 12th - Tale of Tiger Claw
February 19th - Requiem
February 26th - Owari

So Requiem and Owari will air in different sundays

Unless Nick uploads Owari a week early on the Nick website but that could be a big mistake if they did because if Owari goes up on the website before Requiem is scheduled to air then people will end up watch Owari first and they will see a big spoiler.

Last year, there wasn't an episode on the same day as the Superbowl but Serpent Hunt aired on the same day in 2015 and in 2014 The Good, The Bad and the Casey Jones aired on the same day.

It's still up to Nickelodeon if they want to move episodes or not.

Because, to us Americans, football is awesome and the Superbowl is the most watched sporting event of the year. We have many parties when watching the game. I'm personally not into football,but i know of people who make a big deal out of it along with Superbowl parties.

People also bet money on it.

Yeah I can understand Americans liking it but after watching it on livestream last year waiting for the TMNT 2 tv spot, it was so boring. it was start, stop, start, stop every few minutes, it was annoying.

Nickelodeon wouldn't move an episode with one week to go, they would have known for at least a year that the Superbowl was going to on next week and anyway TMNT is on at 9am US eastern time, the Superbowl is on in the evening.

The only thing I like about Superbowl Sunday is having an excuse to order pizza. Then I re-watch TMNT episodes rather than the Superbowl. I want to say they aired an episode of the 2012 series here in the states on Superbowl Sunday a few years ago.

it depends on the game.

I'm not a sports guy, but i DO love watching football. there is just something fun about it when you get a really good one going even if it's not your home team playing.

other games, there are so many flags or 'injuries' that stop the game every ten seconds that, you're right, the fun factor drops alot. but i still think it's the be st sport out there.

I tried to get into soccer, since they are playing it on US TV now, and I like hearing all the accents the commentators have. but it takes about 5 seconds to get the ball to each player and you can go a whole game without scoring.. I honestly can't understand how Europe soccer has caught on at all. the fields too big to be any fun
