Probably less than number of birds of prey who suffer the same fate. I can't imagine rodents are the sole source of food for a stray cat the same way they are for something like an owl.

Well the Hebrew scriptures do consider all sea creatures lacking fins and scales to be unclean.
He has mentioned on here that he is from a Jewish family.

Hey, Cubed. If you're reading this, do you also avoid cheeseburgers, stews, pork and shellfish? |

I eat meat like chicken, hot dogs, steak, lamb, tuna fish, etc.
I just don't eat hamburgers. The last time I had a hamburger was when I was 7 year old in second grade. I hated the taste of it so that emotionally scarred me off hamburgers for life. Never had another one since. And yes, I realize how ridiculous it is to base it off one time in my life when I was 7 years old over 20+ years ago...but thems the breaks I suppose. |

What kind of burger was it? if you got it from McDonald's... then I can see why you hated it
There's good burgers out there. But you wont' find them in fast food places like McDs. |

It was a fast food burger, probably from McDonald's or Burger King but I don't remember. We're talking about the year 1991 or 1992 here.
Probably the typical kids cheeseburger that tastes bad. Since then I just never had another. Whenever I went to fast food places or my parents took me, I always got the chicken sandwiches or nuggets instead. |

I beg to differ. They DO have a few good items on the menu- ya just gotta shell out some ridiculous cash for them compared to the "cheap" sandwiches on the menu.

The chicken tenders or cripsy sandwiches is all I get from fast food joints now.

We have a bacon smokehouse one that's pretty good, if expensive. And the garlic white cheddar seems pretty good, though I haven't tried it yet. Smells really good, at least.

I'd rather buy groceries in bulk if I want my fix of comfort food. A bag of about 20 large cookies where I live is as cheap as a puny cheeseburger at Mcdonalds/Burger King.

It wasn't uncommon for me to work 18 hours somedays. Not even all the fast food could make up for the calories burned up there
