Maybe a steal?

I bought this a couple of months ago on eBay for $15. I wasn't even aware of its rarity at the time (still not entirely sure) but every other one I've seen goes for around $100.

No maybe's about it, that's a definite steal! Congrats! Had you read the Image series before?

I've read the entire series now but at the time I was hoping this TPB would collect the later issues (for obvious reasons). When I got it I was disappointed that I already had those issues. Then I began to think about how little I've actually seen it around and I don't exactly have a shortage of turtles comics.

Well it does at least have an extra page that isn't included in the floppies, plus that super badass cover is worth the cost itself!

I don't know how many of you will consider this a "steal," but I thought these were weird and bought them in case an overseas Dromer might want them.

Those are actually pretty interesting. I am assuming that they are unofficial, but nonetheless it really does kind of cement how big the turtles were at one point.

Scored this lot of VHS tapes, all of them play fine. Plus a few books as a bonus. Felt like a steal to me.

You should totally take some pics of what the pop-up book looks like on the inside when you get it!

Anyone know anything about these? A seller on eBay had two sets that were given to him by Loyal Subjects as part of a promotional. I paid a high price for each set, because I couldn't find any information about them ANYWHERE. One set is going to another Technodromer overseas, the other is up for grabs if anyone wants to buy it:

Even though I paid a pretty high price, I still consider this a "steal" because there's no telling how sought after this set is going to be at some point in the future.

I got 20 2k3 figs, 2 vehicles and a ton of weapons for $90. It wasn't that bad. The only thing that irks me is that every figs is missing like one weapon. This is infuriating in a whole different way lol but now I got some trade fodder.

Like we all said in the loyal subjects thread. You can find them on the loyal subjects website for $10. That's $10 for the whole pack excluding shipping, but i got mine for free as well.

And what exactly is "a high price" you keep saying that but you don't list a number. For all we know you could be just saying that to get sympathy. I don't think you are, but give us all the details.

I don't see how you couldn't find anything "ANYWHERE" considering a simple google search of a "The loyal subjects tmnt stickers" brings to directly to them.

Kind of a "steal" in the longrun. Won this auction last week and it showed up today.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161746087872...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

$55 and within that is enough accessories to complete 35 2k3 figures. (so about $1.50 a figure) and various other 2k3 Turtle bits. Accessories seem to be hard to come buy for these guys, so now I can bin-dive at cons for $5-10 incomplete figures and save myself a sizable penny later on

Heck already paid for it with a $10 Mystic Fury Don and $7 Foot Elite Guard off ebay.

Funny part is I got vol. 4 & 5 from a TMNT spanish facebook page so I'm only missing vol 7 and the newest releases

I don't really know how much the mini-comic from the vintage TMNT Fan Club tends to go for by itself, but I was happy to spend less than $2 on it this week.

And my local comic shop set aside the very cool throwback cover variant on the IDW #48 for me this week. I had practically resolved to only buy the Cover As for this arc so I could get a complete composite image, but I compromised on this one. It's just so cool.

Plus, my LCS also set aside it's companion from Ghostbusters Get Real! so I had to just go with both:

I'm sure $2 must be a steal. I love that little book, read it dozens of times over as a youth. Wonder who did the art.

DrSpengler convinced me that it was probably the same person who did the original origin strip on the back of the Playmates figure card:
