I think it was mentioned in an old thread that TNM was doing great, but was way more costly then PR. Saban had to do all the work instead of massive loaning from pre existing shows

Just never liked him, never will, far as I can figure. Lots of reasons I don't feel like getting into, but generally he's the most overrated anyone in the history of anything, I've been sick of him for more than 10 years and I try and avoid him if I can help it.

I'd be accepting if he played Black Adam in a movie, though. I feel like the only reason he even exists at all is to play Black Adam in a "SHAZAM!" movie that nobody has made yet. He'd be perfect for that, otherwise I wish he'd say his name backwards and go back to the 5th Dimension where he belongs.

That doesn't make any sense though. If TNM was doing awesome in the ratings but was too costly why didn't they just to cut costs instead of killing the show?

Where would they have cut money from? If they spent any less money on TNMT the weapons and props would have been made out of construction paper. The meager audience the show had didn't justify keeping it going, regardless of cutting costs.

Because Power Rangers had (probably) better ratings and was far more cheaper to produce.

And looking at TMN, there couldn't be any reasonable way to effiently cut costs in that show.

Eastman said, in an interview with Cowabunga Corner, that Saban came to him and Peter and told them he'd cancel the show if they didn't give him a portion of the property rights. He said they thought he was bluffing because of how well the show was doing.

Well you see...that was the use of hyperbole for the sake of humor....

Ah well, it's Hollywood. Reboot in ten years will fix everything.
Retaliation was fun, stupid, cheesy, fun. Way better then the first one.
