Exactly, not a reboot, but a continuation, an extra season. It's as much as a 'reboot' as Inu Yasha The Final Chapters was a reboot.

I don't really see this PPG show as a reboot either since they have different episodes and all of the main characters have returned. I feel it's more of a continuation of the other show and the only difference is the voice cast, who I feel are actually pretty good.

Does it acknowledge the previous show or start all over? From what I heard everyone is written poorly or differently that they might as well be new characters.

This is one of the worst remakes/reboots/continuations that I have ever seen and that is saying something considering the other shows on CN.
