RIP Harlan Ellison

One of the most prolific (and crankiest) science-fiction and fantasy writers of the 20th century, Harlan Ellison, has passed away at 84

Ellison wrote the forward in front of the 6th printing of TMNT #1. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend finding a copy.

His thoughts on the FW cartoon are also collected in the book "Harlon Ellison's Endlessly Watching"

He was a writer who fought tooth and nail to get paid for his work.

He wrote the famous Star Trek episode "The City on the Edge of Forever" and he hated it.

No. It is from the early 90s. It’s the one where there’s a soft and hardcover edition.

Yes! The Special Deluxe Edition. It’s a great reprint overall.

Don't think I've ever seen that book in person, so I had no idea it contained some bonus material. I love vintage forewords in comic collections.
