I have 5 NECA 1/4 figures and most of them are pretty much on cue in terms of paint and what not. no stiff joints or paint slop... I think we're in good hands.

I have pretty much all their Terminator figures they have produced and their new Ultimate figure line has been amazing so far. They are good qauity figures, and at a price point of 20-25. I think these will be even better at 100 price point

I was looking at the details for Donnie and see shipping weight is listed as 7 pounds. So he weighs about 6 maybe and is 16.5" tall. With those measurements I am wondering what those of you that are purchasing these have planned for display?
I would assume a Detolf from ikea but the max load on those are 8 pounds I think, so Donnie pushes near the limit and not sure if the shelves are spaced at 16.5" or greater. So what are the plans for display? It would be a shame to just have these stuffed in a closet. Also read that each turtle release will be spaced by a month or two. That kind of bites that we will have to wait what a year to collect all four. I don't think they would cancel Leo or Mikey would they? That would be lame to not have all four. I'm still on the fence about getting these. About 50/50 right now.

I end up displaying all my 1/4 on the floor close to the wall.
These guys are heavy and can be easy to tip and fall. My Adam West Batman broke his hip just like that. |

Ok, thanks for the info. Sorry about the Batman, I hate when things like that happen.

Use an BESTA from Ikea they are perfect for 1/4 figures. You can buy doors fro them as well if you see fit.
Heres my display: |

If we give Donnie a skateboard, then I want a human arm as well for him.

Can't wait for these, especially that Raph! Only thing that could be done differently is perhaps to make Mikey's facial expression a little more serious to fit in with the other 3, but still looks ok as is. These are gonna be the greatest TMNT figures ever!
It looks like part of the bandana that hangs down is cloth, wonder if that's just for the prototype and will the final product be fully sculpted bandana?
