I love(d) PandF but honestly lately, like after the movie, it really went down imo.
Its hard to explain but it turned into the same type of humor alot of other shows do...the outrageously random and absurd = funny. I thought the movie was fantastic but the show has lost alot of its cleverness to me. Now its the same cliches of this era that just isn't funny anymore. Maybe to kids.

I used to like Phineas and Ferb, but now it's just way too repetitive and boring IMO. I also find the parts with Perry and Doof to be pretty stupid, predictable and really just not that funny. I think they're running out of ideas by now.

I really have to agree. I've heard there's a theatrical movie in the works and I think they're saving all their big creative juices for that one. The 2nd Dimension movie really proved the show had a ridgid status quoe with the reset button being hit. I think some of us were ready for some arc development around then.
These days, I've only tuned in for the Meep episodes. |

So um...basically the cast of Avengers Assemble and Ult Spider-Man meet some oddly shaped Disney characters and fight that villain squad that was started in Avengers Assemble. I think I'll root for the villains as I feel sorry for them.

Forgot to mention that on the IMDB board I read Phineas and Ferb was meant to come out in the 90s. It was pitched around, even to Nick I think, but never got picked up. I don't have a link. Someone posted this quite awhile ago.
I bring it up because it really does seem like a 90s cartoon and alot of people think its one of the best of this era.

^ It was some article I think, not just a user comment.
Besides literally every show, movie, actor, etc has their own dedicated board. Which is quite nice. Obviously not every statement is true but that could be said about the internet as a whole. I think the good out weighs the bad on IMDB.

Ok so this summer (has the ep aired yet?) Phineas and Ferb meet the Avengers. Next summer? Star Wars crossover! *lol* I guess Disney is making Phineas and Ferb the link between the genres they purchase. And the plot of the crossover seems to be set during episode 4.

I could get behind this. Phineas and Ferb is a great show and the writing is always top notch. Plus who doesn't love Perry?

I've loved this show forever, yah after the film does feel like its lost its touch a bit, now I mostly watch for the Phinabella hints as I'm a real big fan of that pairing and am counting down to the days till they get together, which is most likely in the final film, that's always the case with the most popular pairings.
Though, I admit I am looking forward to the film and the Star Wars crossover special, I think the film will be like Rodger Rabbit a bit. Hey, I have a feeling they are going to make a spin off where they can crossover all kinds of shows with Phineas and Ferb, or save the world type since they've been doing that a lot as of late. |

I LOVE P&F! It harks back to Disney's golden days, with Disney Afternoon, I think. Ok, not *quite* the same thing, but it has the action and adventure. It has the wit and adult humour to balance it out. It has fairly decent animation too.
It is pretty consistent, has great music, and actually is mildly educational lol. I can't wait for the Marvel and Star Wars crossovers either!!! So cool!! Here's me meeting P&F, and Agent P at Disney |

I've been trying to get some info on plans for the show past the Star Wars special, and I found, in an article on Toon Zone posted back in February that initially reported it had been 'quietly cancelled', that the show has simply gone on a production hiatus. The theatrical movie has also been shelved
