I didn't say he couldn't dance. I said he can't act.

Just seen Matt McConaughey in that clip. Now he's a quality actor.

... I'm not often at a loss for words, but I legitimately cannot think of a single thing to say after watching that video.

And when I say I'm speechless, it's not in a "oh my god, I'm blown away by the sheer g-force awesomeness" way. More a "... I need a moment to work out what the hell I just watched" kind of way.

All my fiancee will say is that I should be glad I couldn't see the video. hehe

Meh. I never thought Channing Tatum would be such a polarizing figure. Either people hate him apparently or people like him just enough to be ok with it. I got nothing against the guy, but he did seem out of place in G.I. Joe.
And yeah poor Taylor Kitsch is like cinematic poison. I like the guy but no one else is able to stand him, John Carter and Battleship were a testament to that. Savages was pretty good though, violent but good.

Wow, back when I was into Marvel comics etc back in the 90's Gambit was my favourite X Men character... I think Tatum is a horrendous choice to play him.

He has the wrong shaped face/head

Rupert Wyatt dropped out as director a few weeks ago.

Anna Paquin confirmed that she will not be appearing as Rogue in the film.

Paquin has clarified what she meant on Twitter when it came to the Gambit film.

Oh dear! That wasn't a press release!!! I was asked and answered with the information that I currently have. That is all!

The Bourne Identity's Doug Liman is being eyed to direct the film.

A few other candidates include Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) and Shane Black (Iron Man 3)

Is this still a thing? For starring the likes of Tanning Chatum, I would think it'd be getting a bit more coverage.

Looks like this movie is going to be pushed back to 2017 as filming is going to start in the Spring.

Also it's going to be a sexy heist Thriller.

Well, it will at least be a heist thriller.

And this is a wise decision. Nobody got money for three X-Men movies when Captain America 3, Batman V Superman, Doctor Strange, Suicide Squad, and Apocalpyse are all hitting theaters. WTF were you thinking, Fox?

(Still not convinced this movie will ever make it out of what is almost certainly development hell... or at least development purgatory.)

Considering the Magic Mike guy seems to be the only reason people are even TALKING about making this movie, I find that very unlikely.

Liman is the second director to leave this film yet Fox is still pushing to start shooting this in January.

I knew it. Gambit was thrown back to the drawing board because Deadpool did gangbusters as an R-rated movie.

Tatum said "Never say never" about a PG-13 rating.

Quote:
But asked if that meant Gambit could be R-rated, like those two X-Men films he mentioned, Tatum wouldn’t commit. “No, I don’t know yet,” he said. “We’re not quite going there because I enjoyed Gambit as a kid so I don’t want to rule out PG-13. But some of the stuff we want to do is a little bit R, but we’re not sure if it merits a full R yet.”
