The North American tour of the Broadway musical is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2019 at the historic Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.

Today on Good Morning America the Broadway cast performed "For the First Time in Forever". This was also the musical has performed on TV. I kind of like the minor changes to the lyrics. I would've to have seen Anna actually eat some chocolate, real or fake, like she did in the movie though.

Both Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will be receiving stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I'd imagine that their ceremonies will be taking place around the time the sequel is released.

Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are reportedly joining the sequel. Details on their parts are being kept under wraps.

Disney has hired Allison Schroeder (Hidden Figures, Christopher Robin) to do some additional work to the sequel's script. Those two films she previously worked on were fantastic, so I am happy to hear this.

Here is what Kristen Bell's latest updates on the sequel.

Quote:
"You'll see new characters and you will see...you'll know from my perspective what I did with Jen the writer, what she did with me rather, was she was so collaborative on the first one," Bell said. "We sat down as she was writing the second one and she said 'ya know you had a hand in creating this character. What do you think her next step should be? What's her next hurdle, her next epiphany. What do you go through that's similar to her?' I told her a lot of things that I had personally been going through and why I thought that resonated with what I think Anna would be feeling and she wrote that into the script."

"I'll be able to say more when the movie comes out but there are a lot of very very intimate moments for me in this movie that are like, that feel like they're from my real life and like...it's going to make me cry, but like songs specifically that I just gave her a spiel why this particular emotion or particular hurdle in my life was so important and what it taught me and she slid it seamlessly into the character," Bell said. It's not just episode 2 of this show, it's something you need to see them go through because it affects the audience."

Bolded the important parts, oh god, it may be true. I hope this is Elsa having a lesbian love interest in the sequel. Please.

All the stuff she said like Elsa having an "epiphany" sounds like its pointing toward it. Please let there be lesbian Disney princesses, I've been waiting aaaaaaaaages for it. If all these hints aren't toward lesbianism, what could they be? Anna is already married and Elsa probably isn't going to stay single again for the sequel, so girl love is in the air. Lesbians in my Disney cartoons.

What a time to be alive.

The door is definetly open for Elsa to be a lesbian. Whether or not her character is or not, I don't think anyone real or fictional should be defined by their orientation. I doubt this will happen. The Internet had rumors of a Poe and Finn ship for Last Jedi. It didn't happen.

It's sending the wrong message that a woman can't choose to remain single without being gay. Is Merida from Brave also gay because she wasn't interested in a suitor? Or is it ok for her because she's more plain looking than the other princesses?

From that article:

Quote:
Since the release of “Frozen” in 2013, fans have speculated that Elsa may have a female love interest in the sequel. Her arc in the first film (being hidden away because she’s different, told to suppress her emotions, and finally embracing who she is in the end) is viewed as a parallel to issues faced in the LGBTQIA+ community. The movie’s screenwriter and co-director Jennifer Lee told Huffington Post, “I love everything people are saying [and] people are thinking about with our film ― that it’s creating dialogue, that Elsa is this wonderful character that speaks to so many people. It means the world to us that we’re part of these conversations.”
Looks like a lesbian love interest may still be in the cards. At this point if Elsa has a male love interest it will almost feel "wrong" and I'd rather her just have no love interest at all then like the first movie.

We may very well have our first lesbian Disney character in a children's movie. Elsa and her lesbian lover will be portrayed as positive role models to young impressionable children and hopefully the soccer moms don't shield them from it. For the rest of us we get to see hot cartoon lesbians on-screen, what a time to be alive. I hope it pans out, would love to see Elsa from the kingdom of lesbiana.

I’d rather her be asexual and a loner. She can be independent alone just like in the first movie.

They can create another character for other movie and make him/her gay from the get go.
