I'm not sure they can, the music from the original cartoon would still be owned by Fred Wolf. What they can do however is create similar sounding music of their own to match the old ones.

I don't exactly see him upset. Watching the scene, it looks like Donnie and Leo are saving him from falling off the mountain ( I think)

Maybe but remember he's fallen before and he just shrugs it off like nothing has happened. In this moment he looks distressed.

This moment he's kneeling on the floor and there is an explosion in the background and Leo looks back at the explosion, so it has to do with that explosion. I guess Mikey thinks someone has been killed (maybe that kid pug, Usagi or someone else that's with them) But it will turn out they are fine.

Or in another scene from the promo we see that kid falling so maybe Mikey tried to catch him but failed and thinks he's dead.

I don't believe anyone thinks that, at worst one of them is temprarily left behind and even that's unlikely.

It could happen but not in the Usagi arc. If someone dies then it's could happen in the final arc, not before.

I have a question since watching the recent newest episode. Was it shown out of order? Were the eps with the Salamandarans supposed to have aired after the eps with Renet?

Yep, When Worlds Collide is after the Renet episodes and Lone Rat and Cubs.

I'm guessing the Renet episodes (the monster arc) are being saved for the Halloween season. Still weird regardless.

It may have not been out of order since Newtralizer appears in the theme song after Kavaxas, Zombie Shredder and Tiger Claw rather than Savanti.

Did Mikey say Renet gave him the time communication device? If not, it could've been Donatello who made it.

It just came from out of nowhere though. When would she have had the time/chance to just randomly give him that based on the appearances she's had so far and why would Donatello just randomly decide to make something like that? How? I know Donatello is smart, but I think even he has his limitations. lol
