It's the next day and I still feel like someone killed my puppy.

I'm glad it was the Giants. I really couldn't think of a team I'd rather lose to (with the exception of the Bengals).

How about that game scramble by Eli. Eluding defenders and chucking up a prayer which was caught! That was a game changing play! It was a great game to watch

I love watching the Bill Belichick interviews. I'm so glad that prick was denied perfection. Stay in the field for the entirety of the game next time, chump.

I know, what a dick...he left to congratulate his opponent and go home after loosing a Super Bowl like a WHOLE half second early.

I really can't believe how many Patriot haters will come out and **** on them for no good reasons. I watched the game with some Giants fans and I really think they were more excited for the Patriots loosing than the Giants winning.

So if anyone is wondering how bad the Superbowl loss is, its much worse than any Superbowl loss for me for a few reasons. The disappointment of my team winning all season yet loosing when it matters, when they are known and loved for the opposite. Then hearing all the ******** from the Pats haters, the 18-1, the Giants fans having their team finally be better, etc etc.

But I guess give it to the Giants, they deserve it, especially for how many times they dropped Tom Brady when it is never accomplished, the incredible helmet catch play, the comeback TD with less than a minute left, etc etc.

But I still hate the Giants.

EDIT: I also hope that some team does go undefeated while those geezers from the Dolphins have a pulse...although that will probably not happen (I really didn't think the Patriots could do it, and I really didn't especially want them to win anything but the SB).

It was a WHOLE full second.

He was told by a referee the game was not over before talking to Coughlin. His team had to be on the field for that final play. He should be on the field, somewhere, if his team has to be, regardless of the time. I guarantee a coach with class would stick around and congratulate some of the opposing players. But he has no class and he left because he's a sore loser, this was evident during his interview almost immediately after the game.

Hate on them for no reason? There are plenty of reasons to hate the Patriots, starting with their prick of a coach. They were 18-0, everybody loves an upset, especially an embarrassing one like this. I mean you are perfect through 18 games and then get blasted in the Super Bowl, that's just hilarious because 18-0 doesn't mean *hit anymore. Then you have all this spygate talk. Are these not good enough?

Even if belichick knew there was still a second left, so what? It's just sportswriters looking for something to talk about. Oh, he left a second early. Yeah and... He still shook hands with his opponent. It's ONE second and the game was over anyway.

It's the principle. Stay out there with your god damn team until the clock reads zero. His players had to stay out and finish the game. They went out and congratulated the Giants. Yeah it was just a second. Tell me why he couldn't have just stopped and stood there for 1 second... it was just a second, right? I goes both ways. He knew the game wasn't over and he still left. It doesn't matter...that's Bill Belichick for you.

The captain always goes down with his ship.

Exactly. Belichick is an idiot. I didnt like him when he coached my team, the Browns, and especially when he moved them to Baltimore.

But it IS the principle of it. A real coach would have been a man and stuck it out. He left with a second to go to make a point: And it's pretty much that he's a jerk.

And I felt bad for my brother's friend, as I said before, because of the loss... But, sorry. I can't root for a team with Belichik and Brady on it.

And for all the Pat's fans who are that upset... I have one thing to say:

I'm a lifelong Indian's fan. Cry me a river.

Oh I totally agree that Belichick is a dick wad but I don't see the fuss about one second. A loss is a loss no matter how you slice it.

In the terms of football, the superbowl was quite a game. Even though I'm a New Englander from birth, I'm still happy for the NY Giants.. *watched mostly for the commercials*

But for me, it's time to look to more important things...

Just curious. At what number of seconds would you say, "Hey he should have stayed on the field."?

I agree he probably should have stayed on the sidelines until there were not seconds left but he didn't. So what, move on. Everyone's got to talk about something so lets talk about Belichick heading to the locker room before eli takes one knee.

And I remember on the previous play the pass fell incomplete and then the last few seconds ran off the clock. Then they put 2 seconds back on... Then they took one off and it was 1 second left. That's enough to confuse a coach who was already overwhelmed by a devasting upset

How is that confusing? Time was set to where it should be. The referee explained it to him.

Let me tell you, as a Jet fan I have no admiration or respect for the Pats. I won't even go there on the spygate thing, that is too easy.

When Bill Parcells left the Jets, Belicheat was next in line to take the head coaching job. Leon Hess, the owner of the Jets at the time, gave him a million dollars to be the coach. Hess died, then Belicheck retired the next day. Do you think he returned that million dollars?

Now tell me I don't have a good reason to hate the Pats.

That's a perfectly good reason. It makes perfect sense to hate an entire team and the franchise because of the wrong doing of one person.

Of course. They are the Pats...I would hate them anyway.. the fact that they have a scumbag coach makes it much easier.

My huskies are doing well in basketball. Men are on a 5 game win streak and made their way to #19 in the nation. Women are #1 still as far as I know, although they had their only loss against Rutgers.

Why does New Jersey keep beating us (Giants and Rutgers)? I don't need any more reasons to hate Jersey.
