Change the rules

I think they should be abolished (which would fir the audience in the USA more, as they like shows), or at least changed.

Slovakia knocks out Italy from the group stage. And I'm talking about soccer, not ice hockey.

I could give a crap either way, but damn, lot of guys are excited about the trio.

Now, if they had an all star game, played on donkeys, then I would pay the 18 grand to see that!

I'm sad Germany didn't win the World Cup, actually.

Kudos to Spain, partially for being extremely lucky. The Dutch team played very unpretty football in the final, tho'.

Everything that Brazil, Argentina, Spain - even Italy with their controlled defense - everything they all do so well would be destroyed. There would be no need for intricate passing, backheels, step-overs, fast players or offside traps. Football would turn into mud wrestling at two ends of the pitch. In short, the offside rule and no hand balls are the two most important rules in football.
I'm not the biggest soccer fan in the world but I do try to watch as many games each World Cup as I possibly can and the occasional EPL game, and I couldn't agree with you more. Without the offside rule the game would be terrible. Definitely not the "beautiful game" as it's known around the world. Although, I do think FIFA should consider some changes to the game. If not goal line technology then at the very least another set or 2 of eyes on the pitch.

Little League World Series 2010

Japan won the 2010 Little League World Series being undefeated.

When Japan was up @ bat, the Japanese crowd were cheering & chanting to the tune of "Popeye the Sailor Man". All that's missiing is TOOT-TOOT!

So being a Bear's fan isn't always easy since they are not the best NFL team out there. But going 2-0 so far and facing the Packers Sunday has me excited. Anyone else watch NFL here?

As a Bears fan its good to see them 2-0, and hopefully after Monday night they will be 3-0. Man, Cutler has been playing great so far this year.

11 Year Drought Ends for Texas Rangers

Yesterday, after 11 years of dominace by the Angels & Athletics, the Texas Rangers won the AL West crown by defeating Oakland 4-3. Not since 1999 have they been in post season. In fact 1999 & 2010 saw two soaps canned that shared a word...

1999; Another World
2010: As The World Turns

But alas, when Texas has made post season, they got swept in the playoffs by the Yankees. Never won a post season series, just like New Orleans Saints once never won a post season game.

Looking forward to today's game between the Dallas Cowboys @ Houston Texans on Fox. And we get the top guy to call the game (Joe Buck). The last time Joe Buck ever visited Houston was for the 2005 World Series.

The Cowboys did good, i thought the Texans were gonna beat em for sure.
And yeah Cutler has been playing better, but that's mainly due to the fact that he's getting a lot more coverage than last year, which was cause of a lot of those 27 (maybe more) interceptions

^^ Funny how he ended up getting sacked 4 time due to the "improved" coverage.
Anyways really psyched about the Bulls, they are playing prety awesome, even without Boozer.

PAC MAN ALL NIGHT. That was another dominant showing of why Manny Pacquiao is the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be... In the boxing world at least.

Im a Chi-town sports fan, the only sport I dont care for is basketball and soccer. My alliegences are as of now as follows:

Blackhawks
White Sox
Bears

Although I must say I do not like Lovie Smith in the least.

Its official....
Adam Dunn is a member of the White Sox.
Now if we can just resign Konerko.
I guess that means AJ has to move on though...
Wow.

Basketball, Football are my two main interests. Everything else is secondary, I'll watch them but I'm not go out of my way to watchthem play.
Bulls got owned last night though which really sucked and fizzzled any excitedment over Boozer's return.
