I think the 2014 movie is a bit better but I don't hate TMNT 3.

Not having shredder kind of hurt TMNT 3 and the costumes were a bad departure from the previous movies before it. Splinter just looked awful.

The time travel plot wasn't the most interesting but they made it work ok with the ancient prophecy of the Kappas coming to take down the warlord, tying into the secret of the ooze's plot of Donatello trying to find a greater purpose and special meaning.

Raphael's character development was good too with him appreciating feudal Japan for the peace and cleanliness and then forming a heartfelt bond with Yoshi.

Something that bothered me about the movie was how Leonardo's character (my favorite) took a step back in every conceivable way. From dialogue, to his screen presence to having the worst puppeteer for facial movement (seriously did the guy controlling his mouth have his hand crushed in a car door or something).

To this day I still listen to the soundtrack and quote the movie ("secrets leak like the stink from a dead pig") so it has left a mark on me.

The 2014 movie has an awful story, just terrible. You can tell it was riddled with re-writes and last minute reshoots etc. I do like the action in it though and the humor and the turtles interacting with each other was cool. It succeeds at what it is, a summer popcorn action flick. Things like the 99 cheese pizza, and the fight with splinter and shredder were great but the bad origin story made the fight feel hollow. I haven't rewatched the movie in a while though so it may not hold up over time the way the original trilogy does.

And I suppose you could say the "Spy" of the movie because he joins the good guys, then joins Walker, then goes back to the good guys

Wasn't his name Witt?

TMNT 2014. The only part I liked of TMNT 3 was the dance sequence at the beginning. Casey, the moments he was on screen as well. Just cause of Elias Koteas. I've seen TMNT 2014 at least 10 times.

TMNT 3, I guess. Definitely if I can pretend the scenes added to the manga were really in the movie.

TMNT 3 may be a bad movie but it took place at a time where public saw the turtles in that light.

TMNT 2014 is made by people who don't care about the source material and instead writes the most unbelievable, plot-holed filled, April-focused story I have ever witnessed in this franchise. There is NO excuse for that movie to come out the way it did!

All day long TMNT 3. Not even a question. 2014 was one of the most pathetic movies I have ever seen.

I liked tmnt 2014 far more because:

1. It had more tmnt characters like shredder, karai, vernon and burne
2. I think the actors in 2014 gave it their best. Even Megan Fox I think did pretty good and none of the casting choices I thought were bad.
3. The story. Sure, 2014 has many problems, but the story explores the turtles origins and actually incorporates the foot unlike 1993.
4. More interesting original characters. Eric Sacks, by far felt alot more memorable to me than any original character in tmnt 3.

I like 2014 more than 1993 and 2007, but not more than 1990, SOTO and OOTS.

I'll take Paige Turco NOW over Megan Fox.

I like it. It's a new take on Shredder, it looks the best and looks better than 1990 Shredder.

1990 Shredder looks like he's wearing an oversized dress like a raincoat or something. So impractical.

Compare this drag queen dress with overbloated mouth piece:

And this messed up 1991 Shredder

To this badass 2014 armor Shredder:

I would use the word "impractical" more for the 2014 Shredder than for either of the first two movies.

Ok? I don't know. I must be in the minority when it comes to the 2007 CGI film. I seem to like that movie more than most other TMNT fans.

This is supposed to be a movie, not a modeling contest. She won the Razzie Award for Worst Actress for the movie and she deserved it!

There needs to be an addition to this poll of NEITHER. That'd get my vote.

Don't listen to Shark Blade. Megan Fox is to him as Melissa Benoist is to CyberCubed.

1993 was a bad film, but still enjoyable to some degree. It certainly did not damage the property as much as Bay's films did. They didn't try to make the Turtles aliens or turn Shredder into a White guy... yes, Shredder was not even in the movie, but I doubt they'd have done that since he was Asian in the previous two movies(well, except for when he was in Super Shredder form, but that is a whole different matter entirely).

I just have to think about re-watch ability .
I watched the 2014 movie at the cinema. and I did enjoy it. It was a fun couple of hours.
Fast Forward (deliberate use of wording) a few months and I buy the Blu Ray release. Hm. I find that I have not watched it, and never really had the inclination to do so .
The Third (officially untitled) Turtles movie is a lot of fun. It's quite silly, and probably quite childish in parts (just who did they think they were making this movie for?) but... I have watched it a few times. I tend to open up my Blu Ray 3 movie set, and watch the first one all the way through and leave the set out. I usually watch one of the others randomly. So the movie is an easy, enjoyable, fun revisiting each time.

I like Superman III as well. Re-watched on blu-ray recently and the jokes still make me laugh.
