Ah, I didn't know about that. Thanks, mate!

I used to like Phil Urich and his uncle. (They found a Green Goblin weapon warehouse, and Phil fell into some goop that enhanced his strength without making him crazy like Norman Osborn was.)

Urich became the fourth Green Goblin before the editors put a stop to that. (That sucked because I liked the heroic Green Goblin idea.) When Phil came back, he was a complete wreck and he eventually became a Goblin-Knight..(?)

I take it that Phil's dead too.

Me, too. Phil could've been the exception to the rule, but they killed him off due to him being addicted to being a Goblin and wanting power and glory too much. Personally, I think it was a dumb idea, but Marvel appears to be filled with a lot of those more often than not.

If you guys are looking for an example of Phil living up to that heroic potential, you could pick up some of the Spider-Girl Essentials, where he's one of the mentors to Peter's daughter and is the 'Golden Goblin'.
