I..... want to see this movie...

I'll always be against the horrible designs.... and the stupid extra gear... And i'll be seeing red if the movie implies Shredder is just 'some guy' that can't fight worth crap and needs the mecha-shredder-tron outfit to basically do all the fighting for him...

But I want to see this now. Seeing the turtles dance in the elevator, joke about their long-ass name, the Mike and Raph disguised as boobs on a billboard... that's the goofy fun-loving turtles I know, even if they look weird as all hell. I'm actually somewhat looking forward to seeing this.

I'm glad they finally gave us this side of them, esp that elevator scene, certainly helped pull me in more and the free ticket helps (go buy Crush! lol).

The latest trailers have been pretty fun and very different in tone from the first ones, the movie just looks more amusing to sit through then it did earlier. Even if it may not be perfect, it can still turn out to be entertaining and worth a ticket.

Nice to see others starting to work towards possibly giving this movie a chance. I was always planning on going to see it, to give it a fair shot. Although prior to probably a week or so ago, I was still on the fence about a majority of this movie. Then, all the TV spots, the hype on these forums, and my 5 1/2 year old nephew reminded me of one very important thing: It's hard to deny being a hardcore Turtle fan. I got so wrapped up in what I thought the movie would be, rather than just actually telling myself I needed to give it a fair chance, like I had originally planned from the beginning.

I'm too much of a dedicated Turtles fan to not give it, at least, a watch, before making final judgment. And, I was even weary about the 2012 Nick series, before it came out. And once it did, I'm glad I didn't let myself stop myself. Because I love what they have done with Turtles over at Nickelodeon. It helped open up that highway of Turtles to my nephew, and now even he, is starting to learn all about the Turtles before this generation (all thanks to me).

I guess the moment I fell in love with Turtles, I should have known they'd stay with me for the rest of my existence heh.

This is my feelings exactly Coola Yagami, if it weren't for the humor and the action bits I would utterly avoid this at all costs. But the recent trailers have caught my curiosity and now I have to see it.

Remember there was a time they said that they were not gonna have any distinctive personalities and let the costumes speak for them. Glad they didn't do that.

I'll go ahead and consider myself lucky to be one of the hardcore fans to find some merit and excitement in the choices being made behind this film, yet I can understand the difference in opinion.

To fans that just aren't down with this reimagining, I offer condolences and the opinion that, in the long run, this direction gets us much closer to a(nother) Mirage - inspired film than either of the last few films - at least it's being aimed at teens instead of tweens.

I also read your post about when you saw the trailer in a theater and loved it...way too often do we hear what others yip yap about stuff...I am hyped for this movie!!
