So apparently there's a five-way on RAW this week to determine who faces Seth next week on the 'season premiere' for the Universal title
https://www.tumblr.com/widgets/share...pt.+23%2C+2019 It makes me wonder if they'll switch the belt in order to protect Bray from a high-profile loss to Seth, and still allow them to pull the trigger on him at Hell In A Cell? |

ya Did John forget how they did him dirty during his last run. Putting him in Main title pictures for him never to win it.

So the AEW show was pretty amazing. Sometimes I felt like I was watching a PPV. Sadly I'll be missing the rest of the episodes due to work, I put in PTO yesterday to at least see the first episode, but other than that I'll only be able to catch it on rare occasions I'm either off or leave early Wednesdays.
Few botches here and there, the canerawork needs work and they have to figure out a way to deal with commercials, but still a pretty good show all around.

On second thought.... If they replay the show like they did last time and it wasn't just a one time thing, I might be able to catch the episodes after work after all. O.o

The Disrespect towards Kofi continues they had him loose to Part Time Lesnar in 5 seconds. Kofi is to damn loyal to a company that doesn't appreciate him. Wish Kofi would go to AEW or somewhere else.

Eh, he ain't great.
People hate Lesnar, but Fox was adamant since the beginning of the deal that Lesnar be made a focal point, since they want to create a "real sports" atmosphere around WWE and Lesnar, like him or not, is as legit as it gets. It makes sense from a marketing perspective. It's good business. Kofi is an acrobat who mainly appeals to children, but not really anyone else. He's never been fit to be the Top Guy of any company. He's a perfect midcard Champion or Tag Team Champion, but not the Top Guy. If he jumped to AEW tomorrow, it wouldn't exactly make any huge ripples. But he shouldn't be the Top Guy there, either. Not unless they take a year and rebuild him with an entirely new persona that isn't based on ladder stunts or walking on his hands in battle royals. It's bizarre when they suddenly take these midcard comedy guys and try to make them World Champion, and it usually doesn't end up going over well. I wasn't shocked Kofi got the belt - nowadays literally everyone gets it so long as they work there for more than 5 years - but I'm actually surprised he had it so long. "One of those guys that throws the pancakes" isn't a good descriptor, when non-wrestling people ask who the current World Champion is. Having someone like that on top makes everyone look bad; just calling it like it is. For making a big splash on an actual major network, moving the belt from "The Guy Who Throws Pancakes" to "The Guy Who Eats People" is definitely a wise move on their part.

Leo nailed it. Kofi's story was inspiring, and the kind of angle you need around Wrestlemania season, but when it comes to pulling in the post-'Mania spring to summer box office...well, that's where those feelgood journies fall a bit short of the dollar.
Doesn't help that Kofi is the weakest of the New Day on the microphone, take away the New Day-isms ("BABYYY" and "W...W...E Champion") and he's very plain on the stick. Xavier and Big E can talk the talk and put on killer matches, but Kofi's never quite had the same fire as those two, Bryan, Orton, Joe and Ziggler have carried him like luggage He beat Orton, the man who orchestrated that 11-year roadblock. Logically, his story at the top is done. The only thing left would be a three-way with New Day at 'Mania where one of the other two would be coronated, but then you're left with the New Day having an extended main event shelf life with a vice grip on the title...just as bad as Brock's vice grip. |

I liked the Kofi/Danielson match at WrestleMania and even marked out when Kofi won because it was a cool moment, but other than that I can't say I'll miss him as champion.
Regardless of how fans think of him, Lesnar adds presence, star power and credibility to the belt. |

Anybody watching NWA Powerrr on youtube? It has a lot of former Impact guys like Nick Aldis James Storm Eli Drake Alison Kay fka Sienna Eddie Kingston and Homicide.
I was thinking of watching it but they decided to get Jim" I hate everything about current pro wrestling" Cornette as commentator and I loathe him. But not surprised they got him since Corny has a hard on for traditional wrestling and what not. Also AEW Episode 2 was great the Young Bucks vs Private Party was amazing

Week 3 was cool too. Much better Women's match, the PAC/Mox vs Omega/Hangman match was great. Jericho vs Darby was also great, finally the Painmaker make up!

Was there live for episode 4 of AEW. Sadly I waited too long to get a ticket so I was high up near a few empty seats, so I know I won't be on tv. I missed my chance to see how this would look like from the tv point of view. I was so surprised they had Hangman challenge PAC off the air but I heard an encore presentation showed it.
I can't wait to watch Dark tonight. I moved closer to the action for that last match so I wonder if I made it. I'm glad we got see Sadie Gibbs and Penelope Ford in action. I was also lucky enough to meet Darby Allin, Sonny Kiss, Allie and Leva Bates after the show.

Tonight is Impact's Debut on Axs TV. Its a stacked Card. Main Event is Brian Cage vs Sami Callihan in a Steel Cage for the championship. Kinda hope Sami wins it he is one of my favorites.

Watched AEW Dark on Youtube. Didn't make it on the air even though I changed my seat to get closer to the action for the main event. I was busy getting some last minute merch as will as hitting the bathroom during the Main Event cause I figured I'll watch it on Youtube anyway.
They cut out the part where Sakura was so worn out she had the referee hype up the crowd for her. I was looking forward to seeing that again, dammit. LOL
