I hate to say it and seem to be finding something disparaging to say about everything, but seeing Donnie and Raph first I immediately thought they look like those particular figure things... Not Mega Bloks, but that is the only name I can come up with. The ones from that brand with the flat heads.

Alternately Raph would have a good head for Lego.

Yeah that’s what I thought. Costumes already? But no time wasting going on with promoting, apparently lol. I think Minimates are the Bloks you might be thinking about.

As a longtime TMNT fan, seeing the direction of this cartoon is sort of surreal.

Not letting it bother me, it's just weird. I'm glad other people will enjoy it though. Could be a fantastic cartoon but I'm only interested from afar.

I feel like it's kind of a somewhat lazy answer to figuring out how the Turtles manage to feed themselves. I guess April had better not ever lose that job or want to move on to better things, else they'll starve to death and it will be all her fault. lol

Personally, I've preferred the thought that since they live in a busy city they've just become very good at spotting loose change. Much of that "patrolling" could really just be out hunting for money (or anything else they can salvage, be it food or whatever), and on a good night maybe finding the paper kind.
