Rise really does have a lot of interesting premises. Raph befriending a Foot Ninja is a novel idea, I could easily see that as a Mirage issue, done differently, of course.

LOL Ok So it wasn't Casey like some thought, I'm glad though that leaves a question on who's right judging this new character, is he evil or not? Clearly this new guys got emotional issues to deal with though LOL.

As usual Leo's judgement seems correct

Poor Donnie, he's like the middle child always being picked on by his brothers no matter what, at the same time you wonder how long Donnie's been trying to change his brothers? You could see why they'd get annoyed with him too

Is it weird though that his sparring partner isn't a human Foot member but...a paper ninja? One of their temporary weapons...? Are they turning sentient now?



Wow, that is a long hiatus for a new series if the UK hasn't seen it since Dec., esp seeing how more eps exist and no reason you guys shouldn't be airing them.

If this new guy is Shredder I'm surprised, I thought they'd save him for the season final but man if it is him like we expected to be the case I am so excited for this

I don't see this Splinter betraying them even if he's in my opinion the worse version of Splinter yet I think he's just training then in a much more intense way. Which would be cool, would love it if Splinter got them to use there actual weapons here but sadly probably not.

I'm so looking forward to to this, too bad we have to wait another week for it. I wish we had a better place to watch the preview on, this video on Twitter is hard to watch on my IPad

Looking at the end credits from today's episode, episode 18a is called Operation Normal. It has Donnie, Leo, April, The Foot, a wizard and some pizza monsters in the episode.

So Raph won't be in it than? It would be pretty cool if we had to watch Leo step up his game and fill in the gap as leader for an episode till it becomes official.

Took me a bit to track it down, but you know what's kinda odd..? This far in and we've still yet to see anything related to that first leaked image.

Maybe it was just test animation not related to anything we'll actually see (the art does look a bit more simple or maybe it's just image quality in the pic), but the content of it seems too oddly specific to not be story based. Hmm.

edit: Watch, it'll probably prove I spoke to soon and show up in that next longer one everyone believes Shredder is showing up in.

Judging by the fact that the style seems slightly different from the rest of the show, I'm gonna guess that it's from some sort of Pilot. (Kinda like how some of the first animation we saw for the Nick show never actually appeared in it.)
