You know, for all the hate TNM gets, when you think it was on a kids TV budget, that costume is really good.

Anyone know where the other costumes ended up?

I recently purchased this piece on ebay and am not really sure what it is. The seller thought it was a toy prototype. When I first saw it I thought it might be a prop from the first movie but I am not really sure. The piece didn't come with any documentation. It is signed on one foot "John Michaels" and "1990" on the other. The piece is made of a thin rubber and has foam inside to keep its shape. It is 11" tall and is 7" wide from elbow to elbow. Any help on identifying it would be greatly appreciated. Whatever it is I thought it was too cool and cute to pass up so I had to have it.

i saw that when it was up... it definitely looks like some sort of maquette, prototype, test pull, or unfinished puppet cast of the baby TMNT from the first film. is the rubber very pliable? i could see it being some sort of raw cast that would have had an armature for stop-motion.

there are a few people here that have similar pieces. definitely a cool score, though! thanks for posting the shots!

The seller said he had 2 of them. He originally had the pieces up with a BIN of $250 apiece but then for some reason he ended the auction. Maybe to sell one of them for a lower price. Whatever the case he ended up listing it again with a BIN of $100 late at night so I jumped on it before anyone else could. I hadn't seen anything like it but to me it matched the pieces in the movie pretty closely so I thought why not.

The rubber is very pliable. There is absolutely no sign of brittleness anywhere on the piece. I was thinking along lines of a stop motion piece when I saw it since the scene was darkly lit most of the details would be harder to notice. Like I said I am not sure though.

I've always wanted the scroll from the third film that shows the "prophesy" of the turtles. Does anybody know where that ended up? It would look great framed in my living room.

actually, i'm pretty sure it was on ebay a year or so ago for a fairly decent price. i honestly can't remember if it sold.

THANK YOU! I'd really appreciate seeing the images. Now, if only they had "prop recognition software" I could easily track down the owner. Do you remember what the price was by chance?

I want to say it was around $600-700, but I could be wrong. I'll try to find the images today.

That is a really fare price. I would have gladly purchased it. Hopefully it pops back up again.

Anybody find anything new or know of anything that is up for sale from the movies. I am new to the collecting of higher priced collectibles and I have been trying to buff up my turtle collection.
