I think that had something to do with the energy the squirrelanoids were emiting. It was mentioned in a throwaway line, I think. Weren't they also glowing? I'll have to rewatch this one when it's added to my vid library on amazon.

I'm still considering it episode 2. No one considers I, Monster episode 14 as it was aired as episode 13.

Even if it is supposed to be Episode 3, the ending of the premiere makes more sense to connect these two episodes together rather than break another episode in between them and then backtrack to the aftermath of the premiere.

Did anyone else catch Don's line about the retro-mutagen? Perhaps when he finishes it he can use it to change back Kirby and Timothy.

This reminded me of Monsters Inc where Boo starts laughing and it shorts the power circuits in Sulley and Mike's apartment.

Team Turtle have upped their level to a ridiculously high standard.

This is what episode one should've been like.

Everything was brilliant. Banter. Animation. Grade A mortal peril. Sassy Splinter. Not too scary for the kids but perfect for those that celebrate Halloween.

I'm scared to give it a 10/10 in case the next episode is even better but I feel like a 9.9 doesn't do it justice.

I'm still a bit confused as to the fact they didn't notice they only flushed 3/4 squirrels down the septic tank...

It was cool to see a "Muckman" poster in Mikey's room among other things.

This certainly wasn't a hard hitting episode, but it was a lot of fun. The Squirrelanoids were fun, creepy but I loved their design. The bit where Mikey was translating the homeless bum's "crazy talk" was another funny moment.

Did you guys catch that early scene where one of the turtles mentioned being trapped or ambushed because of the mutagen tracker? Do you think we'll see that episode aired in November? I'm wondering if this reference has something to do with s 2 ep 2 which hasn't aired yet.

Great Episode! I loved seeing all the Alien homages. & the Muck Man poster hanging in Mikey's room was a nice touch.
