no, that figure has always been pretty rare, and there has always been that "differen't coin" thing. I guess some are silver some are gold w/e who cares
It makes me wish I didn't open my Sumo mikey back in the day... but hey I was a kid and back then toys were meant to be opened. Funny story about sumo figures though, I lived in St. Louis and I always went to Target n' stuff to get tmnt figures etc... and sometimes I would come across the metal mutants and the vampire turtles (these were the figures that collectors want because it was at the end of the line and people weren't buying tmnt anymore). I passed on the vampire don but got vampire leo, I went back 2 days later and vampire don was gone never to be seen again. We visited chicago later that year and I got sumo mikey but never did I see the sumo figures in st. louis. I never saw the figures I got in St. Louis in chicago too. Kinda weird, it always made me wonder if I traveled the country would I have ended up with a scratch or hotspot? :p |

I've seen a few bootlegs in my time, isn't this just plain stoopid? If you look at the packaging, there are two mike's, and there is Don's picture in the front card/logo thingy.

Just like Ectocooler pointed out. The Sumo pieces are incredibly rare to find and that piece warrants that price. I just wish i knew it was listed or i would have bought it.

Triceraton Warrior and the rest have been spotted on ebay.
I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I figured this would be the place to post it. They are showing up in CA already so the rest of us shouldn't have to wait too long. From what I've seen there is Silver Sentry, Triceraton Warrior, General Mozar, Fugitoid, Multi Arm Shredder and Guardian Ninja in this wave. Here is the URL. I can't seem to figure out how to put the direct link in here. I will put two URLs with two different sellers. Just check out their other items for the other figures. Take care!

Glow In The Dark
I found this item on eBay somewhat recently: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5907058538 It's a cool TMNT 4 Pack from Singapore. I bought it thinking it was a cool bootleg. I got it in the mail yesterday and it turns out it's actually a Playmates Toys release. They must have only been available in these countries. |

Just picked this one up on ebay.ca for $20 canadian (including shipping) It's a 5th anniversary Leo in excellent condition. The box is pretty beat up but the statue has never actually been taken out. I was just wondering how many of these were made (the serial number on this one is 22449) and what their value is. Thanks.

No offense but it's not worth much. I remember going to the super market and getting him when he was brand new. There were tons. Basically it was just made to look like it was rare, but it's just as easy to get as any other tmnt figure.

Thanks Ectocooler. I knew he wasn't the most rare figure when i bought him, but the price was pretty low and it's in excellent condition. It's also really hard for me to find stuff where I live.

I'm selling one of those animation cels that they sold back in the day featuring Usagi Yojimbo in it and am surprised at how much it's gone up so far!
