I want Miles Morales as Spiderman to appear first.

That reminds me, I read something about there's a cameo of him in the new movie? I didn't realise it on my first watch tho..

Oh it's not really him appear in the movie but a clever reference : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pol...-miles-morales

Do not expect Miles Morales to appear in the MCU. If Feige has any sense he'll be using the young Peter as the tentpole of the MCU after Downey Jr., Evans, etc. are killed off/retired in 'Infinity War' or soon after. No reason to pass the Spidey torch so quickly, that'd be ridiculous. By the time there's a window where it makes sense to introduce Miles, the bubble will likely have burst and the MCU will have ended.

Sony is working on a animated Spider-Man movie with Miles Morales.

I know, but that's a separate project, outside of what Marvel Studios itself is doing.

Well except hot Aunt May though, she's at the same level.

Um, no. Gwen was that girl who gets put on a pedestal so high that she should be getting nosebleeds. She was his "perfect ideal girl"- except she WASN'T. (I mean she DID sleep with frigging Norman Osbourne. What WAS she even THINKING??!!) She also was not half as interesting or ballsy as M-J.

What do high schools not have football teams anymore?

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I'd be lying if I said it didn't have any cringeworthy and out-of-character moments but overall, it was entertaining.

Question, is Ned's character in this movie based on Ganke Lee?

I loved this movie, but I like the original trilogy better. I felt like this one was a little too long and the tech suit got annoying.

I didn't see this mentioned, but was anyone taken out by the opening of the movie with Peter filming the whole beginning through his phone? I mean I know they did it because he's a millennial and iphones are the new thing these days, but it made the opening scenes awkward to watch.

Seeing Peter Park filming with a phone and texting isn't like the Peter of my day who carried a camera strapped around his neck and took notes with a pencil and paper. Hell the 2002 Spiderman movie which isn't that long ago still had Peter with a regular camera and using payphones. Anyone remember the joke in Spiderman 3 from 2007 where the little girl took the film out of the camera so Jonah Jameson couldn't take pictures? Nobody had iphones back then.

Was finally able to catch this movie.
I really enjoyed it, and I think it's the first time we've gotten an actor who can do both the convincing Peter Parker as well as a convincing Spider-Man.

McGuire's Parker was great, and Garfield Spider-Man was great, but I feel both actors didn't excel at their respective counterparts.

This kid though, I think you nailed it both times.
As did Keaton, which isn't really all that surprising since I don't think I've ever seen him give a bad performance.
I kind of wish Aunt may have been used a bit more.

Also was anyone legit surprised by the amount of cursing and adult stuff in this movie? Aunt May's, "What the fuucccc kkkk?" at the end, then Michael Keaton calling Spiderman an asshole, and then his friend saying, "I'm watching...porn?" in the school.

I certainly don't remember this type of language in superhero movies when I was a kid. Especially from a Marvel movie aimed at the younger crowd like Spiderman.

For any Tobey Maguire fans, seems Tom Holland wants him to appear in the MCU.

Also, this may be the worst second weekend in the MCU's history:

I wanted them to commit to the F bomb. That would have been great.
