Maybe they could go the "Looper" route... where they added light prosthetics to Joseph Gordon-Levitt to make him look more like Bruce Willis.

An Obi-wan film about him getting revenge on Darth Maul and killing him will be cool. Darth Maul is still around in Star Wars Rebels and that would also likely be the time period where an Obi-Wan movie would take place.
Have Obi-Wan kill Darth Maul to avenge Qui-Gonn's death. I'd watch it. |

You don't like Star Wars at all? What?
Why are you reading the Star Wars comics Marvel is putting out then? |

A Darth Maul/Obi Wan movie? Hell yeah!
I mean I don't like the idea of Obi Wan fighting but if they're already pissing all over the franchise by having Jedi when there aren't supposed to then might as well do cool stuff on film with it. This is the movie everyone wants because Ewan Mcgregor is the perfect age to play an older Obi Wan and he already was. No one is asking for a young Han Solo, at least not now I have zero interest. We just saw him die in Ep.VIII played by Ford give the character a rest. I'm sure I"d be all over a Han Solo movie ten years after Ep. IX finishes but not now, it's not the time. I'd rather see movies from actors that are still alive today or other characters I've never heard of. Play the nostalgia card a little more subtly Disney. I love Star Wars but as soon as I'm getting warmed up to the new Rogue One movie all these information on Episode VIII and now the Solo film appears and kills my excitement for anything SWs again. |

Obi-Wan doesn't do vengeance. By the time Episode III has finished, he KNOWS how dangerous and treacherous the path to the Dark Side is. He's not going to do the same.
An Obi-Wan movie would be cool; even bringing back Darth Maul could work. But vengeance as the whole angle would fall flatter than Humpty Dumpty after being run over with a steamroller.

Not even in the original films? I find that very strange. They still hold up to this day and have great fun moments and well done action scenes. They also set up the whole universe.

Do not want. The actor is already close to Harrison Ford's age in Episode 4, if they do 3 films he'll be past that.

I'm not overly thrilled with this idea but I will still at least see the first one.
For everyone worried about over saturation I think that is jumping the gun a bit and we are far from that. As of the current schedule Disney/Lucas Film is working on the plans of one movie per year. This is probably super smart as it capitalizes the most on merchandise. Think about this. Marvel has been doing 2-3 movies per year. I would argue the SW universe is much larger than MCU. With MCU you have all super heroes that are mainly on the same planet and mostly in the same time frame. With SW you have the whole universe and it's clear they aren't pulling from all the same time frames. |

I'm cautiously intrigued by a Han Solo movie trilogy.

Its amazing how some people in their 20's already look like old men, whereas when I was in my 20's I still looked like a teenager. Go figure. |

He has a receding hairline already. Seriously look at his picture in the link above, you don't think he looks like he's 30 something?
I think you're forgetting a lot of 20 year olds still have pudgy baby faces. We just look like older teenagers. 30 year olds have that "gruff" outline to their faces. |
