I just stumbled into this video but it's really interesting. It's a little video from Jon Favreau's son about how Favreau's movie "Chef" is actually all about Iron Man 2.
Or rather, how making Iron Man 2 was so soul-sucking and why he did no more Marvel after that.

Glad you posted this. I never saw Chef. I actually, all this time, didn't even know it was fiction. I actually saw something briefly about it years ago and thought it was literally Jon Favreau on like a reality tour cooking or something with his Hollywood friends showing up.

Scarlett Johansson never looked as good again as she did in this movie. She aged like 10 years in just 3-4 years and now she is seriously meh looking.

I think the main complaint back then was the final battle with Vanko. It was pretty much the joke about the 'ex wife' being a dud and then 'hey remember when we blasted each other before, let's do that now' the end. I wouldn't have minded trimming 3-5 minutes of the fight against all the Hammer-bots if it meant seeing 3-5 minutes of Iron Man and War Machine going mano-y-mano against Whiplash instead. Then do that double blast thing.
Would still wreck Scarjo today. Sure, she was younger and hotter back then, but she still hasn't reach the point where I would turn her down if she offered.
