Hey man no problem....I just had a baby (1st one) 3 months ago and ever since my mom has been trying to dig up any and every picture of my childhood she could find 'cause she thinks we're identical. I had forgotten all about those pics but as soon as I saw them I instantly went in my mind taking that whole costume out of its packaging and trying to figure out how to put it on without my parents help. (It was tricky...lots of string tying) There's a lot more pics that I didn't post from that day. Mostly me with different family members who wanted to get a pic with the famous Raphael, making me feel more special, and further cementing my love of TMNT!

Ha ha these pics are bringing back some memories, the guys dressed up in turtle suits used to really freak me out!
My sister and me in what can only have been the worst turtle costumes ever made. They were official I swear but how I don't know, basically a glorified kitchen apron and we only got one sai each! Good times. |

Since my parents separated when I was 14 there are almost no pictures of my childhood at all. And I had some really cool Turtley birthdays too!!!
Anyway, Here are some funny pictures of my little girls playing with my old childhood toys...

Here's my 7th birthday cake. My Grandma made it based on a page from a coloring book...or some other Turtle book.
Here's a gif I made ages ago:

It warms the heart of even I, the forum Grinch.
So cool that moments like that are happening now exactly as they did 25 years ago.

This thread really makes me want to go hunting to see if I have any old pictures. I might. So far I've seen a lot of cute things in here! Oh childhood.

Hey, cool thread! I found some old scans on a backup hard drive recently, so here's a picture of kid-me as a huge nerd. (Not... much has changed.)

All of the vintage clothing I'm seeing is a lot cooler than what we get today. Wish I could find all the old shirts I had in my size.
