My Tj Maxxx only had Donnie. I really want Leo's since he's my favorite Turtle. Heh. I wish the sewer lids had their names on them, but Donnie's only says "Awesome!" on it.

They also have this at Family Dollar for $3 each in with their Christmas toys. There were 3 each of Donatello and Mikey and 2 each of Leo and Raph in the case.

How did you go about getting that? I've seen it at a BN and thought it was awesome. Who did you have to talk to about getting it?

I just went in and asked an employee who I should talk to and they directed me to the manager. Now the tricky part was that he told me I could have it but then another worker came over and told him they aren't supposed to give them out because people sell them. But since he already promised me it and I showed him pictures of my collection to garuntee I would be keeping it he reassured me and the other worker it was mine.

But as a warning I asked toys r us about a huge display last night and one employee said they throw them out so I could probably snag it. Then when they got the manager he said nope they have to send them back to the distributors. Now he may have been telling me the truth but I've spoke with many other places who have told me that they are required to say that even though it goes in the trash. So just make sure you go about it nice and simple, justsay you're interested since you collect tmnt and they may be nice amd give you it

I see, makes sense. I called one and they said they aren't supposed to give them out so it pans out plus I think the display is down anyway. But thanks for the reply. I will keep that in mind next time I see something like that.

I had this same experience. My brother knows the manager at Toys R Us and asked if I could have the Transformers display. She told him that they are required to destroy all of the displays and couldn't give it to us. I highly doubt that they destroy them though. I am guessing that it would have been in the dumpster outback after it was taken down.

got the third carlton heirloom og turtles ornament today. only 1 more year, waiting for don, and we will have all 4.

weird that this year they decided to give mikey a base that plays part of the theme song when neither leo or raph had those. makes mike look a bit out of place.

Wow! That's awesome looking! I never heard of these before. Any chance you could post a pic of Leo and Raph? I'd love to see them I have some of the older ornaments and enjoy collecting TMNT themed ones.

they are all in the same pose only different color bandanas and weapons

lucky, I have the two with all the turtles on them but my store only has leo,don, and raph, and I can't get them without mikey, everytime I check there is no mikey. it sucks.
