Bump again...
I'm home and unboxing the items I bought. I will post the pack codes so you can tell which blind bags have which figures. btw, here is the sheet that shows the hidden secret figure: robotic foot soldier with 4 arms and some extra weapons: **EDIT** Okay all done! below are the codes. Look closely on the packs for these engraved codes and you can pick out the figures you want Quote:

Thanks for the tip! If I can somehow find these in stores I'll use this info to try & grab myself a Kraang & Shredder.

more pics (click for larger)
happy to answer any questions (yes, i have an extra foot soldier. I bought 9 packs, got all 8 plus one extra) I'm sure the pics answer the question. They are not! However I just want to say... after opening 9 packs of these and building them I am very pleased with the quality. Paint apps are very clean. plastic material is high quality, nothing was broken or snapped apart while building. Everything worked great. One minor flaw is feet wraps on the turtles are not painted. And again I just want to stress... right now these blind bags are 2.99 at TRU. If you get them during the current Mega Bloks sale you can get them (and ANY Mega Bloks sets including other TMNT sets) Buy 1 Get 1 40% off... so it's really quite cheap |

Wow, Shredder looks awesome. Does Kraang have the same sort of shoulder articulation as the turtles or is it limited to having him hold them at his sides?

Kraang has the most limited articulation of the set. up/down on legs/arms only. Head is on a nice ball joint though. Also the Kraang brain is a seperate squishy piece, so you can take it out. The way the chest piece snaps on though keeps it snug so it doesn't fall out
Another little detail since I know it's hard to tell in the other pics. the gag with Raph in the blind bag version is that he found a can of spray paint. Mikey tagged his shell. |

Ah, figures. Darn. Well, the actual Kraang (species) being a separate & squishy piece makes up for it, at least! & that tag is hilariously adorable. Thanks again for the insight!

the non blind bag versions DO have painted feet. I only have two though. It's all they had stocked on the shelf.
You'll also notice they have very different eye and face expressions, as well as paint on their bodies. Raph is the most drastic, having black pads on his elbows and knees for skate practicing. So this line does give you some incentive to buy multiple versions of characters, which is something I like to see. It's boring seeing the same character repacked over and over, but if they give them a different look I'm okay with that. |

The FW turtles are what they are calling the collector line.
They have metal shells and more articulation. If you look closely at the arms and legs you can see what i mean. So they are a tiny bit more than the Nick versions. the bebop and rocksteady packs were 15.99 each. the individual figure packs were 7.99 each. to contrast, the mikey/raph boxes two posts up were 6.99 each. If you look at the FW sets you can see that it's all part of a big diorama that connects. so it would make a pretty neat display if you got most of them all next to one-another as for brightness: the picture was taken with flash on so they might look overly bright in my pictures. Sorry, my room is dark for reasons. One more thing... here is one of the sets I neglected to buy. I might go back for it on the 26th. They had about 12 of them so I'm confident there will be some left. Maybe they will put more on the shelf that I didn't see, too. My primary goal with this line are the figures, so I will seek out any sets with characters I do not yet have. Lastly... I neglected to take pics, but I saw a few sets of the "half shell heroes" or whatever they are calling the cuter versions that are aimed at younger builders. They are somewhat of an analog to Duplo figures. Last edited by Zulithe; 12-24-2015 at 03:57 PM. |

Also for the collectors line. The single pack figures are light green skin with green discast shells like the control art.
The Leo and Raph that are in the Krang set are dark green skin with brown discast shells like the show. I can only assume a Mike and Don in those colors are on deck for future waves. http://i.imgur.com/kxPLrkS.jpg And go out and grab the orange Halo dude from the Mega Bloks Charlie Series of Halo blindpacks while you can to partswap and give your Tigerclaw elbows. http://i.imgur.com/LnTJ8Ea.jpg |

Looking forward to finding these megabloks sets. My TRU didn't have anything and I searched. That Buy 1 get 1 deal would have been helpful for these.
I hope my grocery store gets these as they have gotten the newer megabloks sets as they've come out. Those turtle blindbags are bought as soon as I see them and so is pretty much everything else. I even checked out my Target and while they had done some rearranging a bit for the construction toy section, there was nothing new. The playmates turtle section, this year, surprisingly had a good number of items left; 10 Metal mutants pack, several of the taller action turtles, 6 regular figures left, 18 of the mix and match left, 8 weapons mutation figures left, a Slamboni, and battle shell Dimension X Raph.

I wish the characters had the same articulation across all the sub-themes in this line but even the less articulated ones are very good.
I mean I really don't buy a lot of Mega Bloks, so most of my experience is with LEGO. The lack of articulation on LEGO figures has never really bothered me. (except for the "minidoll" figures that come with the Friends and Elves themes, those are even less articulated than normal LEGO figures!) So... the extra articulation is just a bonus for me. |

I would love it if they went this route with having all these characters. Though I do sense they will do a lot of variations on the turtles as well, not as much as Playmates but they will have their share I am sure.
