I added these to the "new piece of art" thread, so I thought I'd add them here too. A couple of sketches drawn for me by Stan Sakai at '95 and '96 Mid-Ohio Con. Drawn on comic book backing boards.

:: Signed prints update :: After seeing this post, our very own Plasticplayhouse PMed me, offering to get 2 of my remaining prints signed at this past weekend's event in MA. What a cool dude. I received them back in the mail today, sweeeeet! 20 years after most of the crew signed them for me, Eastman and Mark Martin have now added to the bunch.

My pleasure man, glad I could help! They look great. I like how Kevin used a copper color marker to sign his.

Thanks. 16. I also picked up a non-polybagged version of the video game reprint, just so I could thumb through it. I didn't know they used the non-toned version of #1 from the PBBZ printing...

Time to bump this thread with some new acquisitions!

TMNT v1 #16 was the first Mirage TMNT comic I ever read, and first TMNT comic that I read period. I bought it at Hills Department Store, which at the time had hundreds of copies of only this issue in the toy section. I used this issue to help me learn how to draw Turtles. I read it over and over until the cover was almost falling off. So the issue holds lots of nostalgia value for me. When I saw that some pages from the issue were for sale, I had to jump on a few.

Page 2 original art:

Page 3 original art:

Page 15 STAT (high quality art reproduction). I had to get this because of the classic TMNT #1 throwback:

also, issue 23 title page OA:
