The problem is that even if the writing is fantastic, which I doubt it will be, it'll still be uglier than a dog turd.

But do they take into account something being aired much over something not as much (or so I think this is the case anyway)?
They also have years of episodes of SpongeBob to air I suppose.
Maybe they will air these shorter, more kid friendly TMNT eps more. (I mean not just in the start)

Saying that, with things like on Demand or whatever TV package you have (plus on-line) live TV would be viewed less anyway.

I think the Sponge simply figured out that if you're on tv constantly, multiple times in a row every day, then you'll get decent ratings by default from anyone just flipping through channels for cartoons and happens to just stop hunting when they hit Nick.

Are they necessarily actively watching it that closely though is another matter... It may just be background noise half of the time.
