Yeah I saw the set I bought on eBay yesterday had shipped and right after that GameStop sent me that same email. They cancelled my order I placed originally, I had placed it within minutes of the turtles going live, Iím over GameStop, they cost me $80 extra dollars and aggravation.

What is wrong with GS?

I told you how they lost all trace of my Leonardo order, despite charging me, and I had to open a dispute through PayPal.

Then yesterday, I get a single Raphael figure, which I never ordered. Theyíll no doubt somehow find the Leonardo order now that Iíve disputed it, and tell me I need to send the Raphael back for a refund.

I donít trust them to even receive the item, confirm itís return, and refund me. And I plan on sticking to that arguement. I canít see any reason I should have to put faith in their system, at this point.

Thank goodness the next exclusive is through Target. Hopefully Neca can shift movie figure two-packs that way next time.

Well... asked a friend to grab me the bundle on GS and ship to the UK.

He's got the confirmation from GS. So we'll see if the figs get shipped to him, I supose.

I opened Donatello. Simply stunning.

If I had to nitpick anything. I mean anything.
It'd be the difficulty in getting both feet to lay flat on a surface, in a natural looking way.

Maybe I need to try again.

Beautiful figure.

And while, I'm here, I have to plug the Medicom/Mafex Batman Begins figure. I recently got back into collecting and I love this Batman figure nearly as much as the Neca TMNT.
Between the sculpt, accessories, and wired cape, you can position this thing in the most fantastic, dynamic way.

Stopped by the GameStop on my way home from work, had a chat with the head manager. He apologized for the miscommunication the other day, as things were very hectic in the store when I spoke to his associate (which I could hear at the time over the phone). Paid him cash to pre-order one of each, they should arrive at my house no later than the 26th... Assuming all goes well.

He did acknowledge that there's always a chance that they may once again not receive enough to cover demand but that I should be "safe". Still, he told me to keep my paperwork in the event of a worst-case scenario.

As is, it cost a few bucks less than I thought it would altogether. Fingers crossed! Literally not one thing has gone right since the calendar flipped to 2019, so this may be the first!

...I shouldn't have said that. Ah well. Still hopeful!

I'm starting to wonder how Zach Ryder might be processing this Gamestop debacle. You think maybe he's on the verge of getting some payback after not being able to satisfy his TMNT fix?

GameStop sent me an email saying Don and Mike are in stock, and it shows they are but once you hit checkout they are gone

That's a bummer. That's why I went to the store in person (it was on my way home anyway, but still). I felt less likely to hit a snag if I just gave my dude the cash and he pushed the buttons to make the magic happen.

I can't even get the self-check-out at Wal-Mart to cooperate with me, I wasn't gonna take a chance with this setup.

That's typical for GS. When the NES and SNES minis came out I cant tell you how many times they would show in stock for hours/days, but they weren't really in stock which you couldn't tell until you tried to go through check out.

Quality seems about the same. I did notice the SDCC set seemed to have more wash on the mask. That may just be mine though. Mikey's chucks seem to have some glue on the strings my SDCC set did not have. I'm hoping that will help keep them from fraying. Biggest difference I noticed was Donnie. His mask seems darker purple. He has his belt loops.

I've now opened two. It's amazing how the awesome-factor multiplies by the amount of turtles posed together.

It's not just the wash on the masks but the spots on their heads, arms and legs are much more subtle this time around. Only ralph has the prominent spotting. The others more closely match their 1/4 scale counterparts.

Thanks inaheap... I'm trying to decide which version to open. I appreciate you perspective and attention to detail. My SDCC Leo has an obviously darker wash on his mask than the others which is a little inconsistent. I am half-wondering if I will even mix and match each set for best options, and am hoping that the manufacturing across each release is effectively the same.

I am so goddamn ready.

I have to resist the urge to constantly refresh my order status. I know damn well nothing's happening yet. It's the weekend, for one thing. But I rarely get excited for things like I am for this. I'm completely irrational when it comes to toys.

They're gonna look so awesome next to my Hulk Hogan and Superman figures.

I have limited shelf space. Also, I'm a known lunatic.

Heck yeah, brother. I need to find my old Hasbro WWF, Toy Biz WCW and Jakks WWF/WWE Hogan figures too.

I collected SO MUCH 1998 - 2002 Hulk Hogan and Hollywood Hogan merchandise.

Same, same. Although I have a few real early pieces, like the original Thunderlips figure, and stuff from the 80s up through more recently. I'm missing most of the Mattel Hogans, though. Most recently, I got the Hogan/Freddie Blassie set from Jakks for Christmas. Altogether, I have around 40 Hogan figures. Probably somewhere between 20-30 Superman figures; I don't have my list handy.

Most of my TMNT stuff is in boxes right now, but these things are gonna have a place of prominence, for sure.
