As I said on Facebook, I'm not sure how I feel about this. I love MST3K, but at the same time, it had a great ending. I'm hoping the new host and scientist will add something new and a reason why there should be a revival instead of feeling like an imitation. (Which I'm getting that vibe from the Robots' new voices.)

I still hope for the best and will support it at the last hours if I have money to do so!

What I want to know is what happened to Jim Mallon. Does he have any connection to MST3K anymore? Did he sell the rights? He's just as demonized by the fans as Peter Laird. ^_^; (Though Mr Mallon did do some things that rightly warranted the resentment...)

This is awesome. I've been enjoying Rifftrax in the meantime but I am 100% behind this coming back.

I donated 10 bucks and every fan should donate 10 or 20.

I would love to see them riff Loch Ness Horror or Piranha 2.

They won't get the full 12 episodes tho but they did manage to get enough for 9.

And that's it. Not only is this the most funded kickstarter film project in history, but we're getting 14 brand new episodes!

They need a million dollars per every 3 episodes of MST3k? Bullsh**.

And wasn't "Rifftrax" the evolution of MST3k anyway? Did they just stop doing that or something?

Rifftrax is a seperate project from MST3K and has nothing to do with what Joel is currently doing, and they haven't stopped.
