Recent "steals" - Page 14

Thanx for the info! Im probably gonna keep watching ebay but im also a yard sale and flea market addict, unfortunately ive had little luck searching there....it seems like i saw them everywhere when i wasnt looking for them!

however i did manage to find a MOC Movie 3 Daimyo for 3 bucks at a flea market and found a movie 3 mike, mummy raph and a splinter loose for 3 bucks. other than that there hasnt been much. i found the giraffe figure i forget his name but he was in horrible shape.

is there somewhere to look so i can get an idea of whats hard to find and what isnt?

ok i think i got a steal this time...

a MOC original April figure...the card itself is in almost perfect shape as well, crisp corners and all. I got it for 3 bucks today at a flea market.

Also picked up a Jim Lee Michelangelo figure MOC for 4 bucks...the card is a bit worn on some corners but i havent seen many of these figures so i thought id snag it.

howd i do this time?

Wow, I think the April figure, you did awesome.

Speaking of steals, I'm sure I got it for market price, but I recently got an '88 Don (2nd Edition), and Metalhead on eBay. The Don is in pretty much perfect MOC condition, and the Metalhead is also, with the exception of a crack at the bottom of the bubble. I bought both for $48. Is that a decent price, did I get ripped, or is that a steal?

I wish I would have read the description better, because I wouldn't have gotten the Metalhead if I knew it had the crack, and same goes for the Don, I wished I would have paid more attention to see it wasn't the FIRST edition with fan club info, but the 2nd edition, hard head, no fan club info...

But, I love the Don, I just wish it was the 1st edition, because it's unpunched and mint.

I know hes not rare, but I got the oldschool wingnut in the box for 4.99 at a local comic store. The plastic bubble has some dents, but nonetheless its a decent deal right? Also I got the first ray fillet (with the color changing vest) MOC off ebay for about the same. Steal?

ok i think i finally have a REAL steal

Sandstorm plus 5 other figures for 10 bucks. Thats right 10 bucks total.

sandstorm and sgt. bananas were in great shape while baxter was missing his wings however, and tokka was missing a shoulder spike thingy...mummy raph was in decent shape.

but what i really wanted was sandstorm and i got em! now if i can only find hot spot and scratch for that price!!! lol

Got a warrior winged don loose no weapon but with all the armors in great shape for 7$ Shipped. I told the seller that i dont want the other junk figures so the shippin was down to 3$(no weapons but no problem i had tons extra weapons for him to hold hehe):

I just receievd a serious score! My buddy hooked me up with:

4 Cheap Skates complete
1 comeplet mutant module
1 complete turtle copter
1 complete shredder mobile
1 complete knuckle head
1 complete pizza thrower
1 complete Aprils Chanel 6 cycle
1 complete turtle cycle
1 complete pshycho cycle
1 Needlenose missing 1 wing and 1 leg missile
1 Killer ber missing 1 wing
15 complete figures

and a ton a extra weapons.

i got all of this for about $95 shipped.

It was like christmas morning the day that box showed up at my door!

I was able to pick up the missing killer bee and needlenose parts off ebay for about $3.

Wow, are you the one selling all that on eBay right now? I'm playin. Anyway, a funny thing about the movie figures, I was watching a set of complete out of package movie figures that included all the turtles, Super Shredder, Tokka, Rahzar, and I think Splinter, and it went for over $140. Crazy. I was interested in them, but I couldn't believe they went that high.

I snagged king lionheart, 88' soft head shredder, cheapskate, toon raph, slice and dice shredder, & dr. el elephant for 23 bucks.. all out of boxes but with about half of the accersories per character. I KNOW thats a decent find.

That is not a steal that is a rip off.

15GBP for a loose figure with most of the armor took off/paint chip is NOT a good deal,unless you talkin about scratch.
