I got my first bunch of classics in a while.
With all the new stuff over the past couple of years, I had slowed down with chasing those older figures I didn't have.
So...

Today I nearly completed 2 sets.
I need to get the 4th spitter, Donnie, and my mutant Military set is all but one complete with the addition of these guys.
Very pleased with them. Its cool to get stuff from the 90s that I never actually owned before.

Both waves were big favorites of mine.

The details in these guys are great. My absolute favorites tho, in the MM line, are BB n RS. They look terrific. The missing figure is the one that's actually just been released as a retro classic, sans detailing.
Can't stop looking back at pilot Donnie. It's incredible.

Ah, I need 3!! Hadn't realized that set 2 had 6 figures.

I received 4 more classics today.

Delta Don brings me pretty close to that full set of Mutant Military figures.

I really like these original Head Droppers over their modern counterparts. There's a lot more character to them.
Walkabout: opened a can of worms here. I was determined NOT to buy any of the non show related characters. Well.... This is actually really nice. Looking at a 1993 Sandstorm. Looking very nice.

Anyways, that's 4 more classics, never owned before, added in to the collection.

The "non show related characters" are some of the best parts of the old toyline, I think! Scaletail & Doctor El have some pretty cool sculptwork, to name a few. I looove Sandstorm, go for it! He's a favorite of mine 'cause I still remember the Christmas I got him.

Ive been scoping them out.
I found all of them at various prices. Yes, Dr El looks amazing, but that Sandstorm still wins out as an awesome looking figure. And Scaletail is amazing.
Made a conscious decision to get one per week. Starting with Sandstorm tomorrow.

Do you get every Donnie piece that comes along? There's so much these days.

That's the goal. I'm somewhat behind though as I've only started collecting in 2014. But since they keep pumping this stuff out, I've switched to only Don on these random merch and the high end stuff. I'm excited for Eastmans Don coming soon.

I'm still going for all with the classic toy line and Nick. I haven't touched the 2003 line at all. I was never that into it because I left for the military as it was all starting.

If nothing else you should grab the original 4kids (2003) Donnie. It's a very nice sculpt, great (fully painted) accessories. He's got some cool form variations, too, like when he mutates, or his evil clone from the future.

The 2007 TMNT film one is also cool, if only because of the larger scale:

I'd wanna have at least one figure per iteration, personally, though I say that having so far not gotten any Bay related toys.

Yeah I'd say those will be added eventually. I really like the packaging for the 2003. Might as well grab the movie Don while I'm at it to complete the circle.

I know that this is not a TMNT item, but I got it because I think it works well with the turtles, and as an extension of the sewer lair. Spawn Alley playset.

Donnie Headknocker came today.

My turtles are slowly taking over the wife's Cherish Teddies.

Yeah, very nice fit! What's it look like from the other side?

That alley structure reminds me of Kenner's Wayne Manor/Batcave mold which got reused a lot!
