Favorite TV Sitcoms of the 90s

What are some of your favorite sitcoms from the 90s? In order for a show to qualify, they have to primarily air in the 90s, so shows like Everyone Loves Raymond doesnt count even though it debuted in 96, the majority of the seasons were in the 2000s.

Seinfeld and Married With Children are the only ones that I can watch these days. I am just not a big fan of sitcoms.

Some of the ones I'd kinda/sorta watch if they happened to be on were things like Home Improvement, Fresh Prince, Blossom, Step by Step and such.

The ones I'd watch more religiously were Married with Children, The Cosby Show (yeah I know, awkward did who knew back then), Family Ties, Growing Pains, and especially Family Matters.

I guess Saved by the Bell didn't really count as a sitcom?

Acording to Wikipedia, it is.

My favourite was Mr. Bean.

Saved by the Bell is definitely a sitcom. Why wouldn’t it be? Because it’s targeted at kids/teens? I think it still qualifies. Also Kenan and Kel, Salute your Shorts, Hey Dude, Clarissa, My Brother and Me.

Those and Fresh Prince (I have seen this so much. I always put it on if there’s nothing else), Home Improvement, Married with Children, The Nanny, Seinfeld, Smart Guy, Friends...this aired half in the 90s and half in the 2000s so I don’t know where you wanna put it. 90s I guess. Drew Carey too.

I watched the early episodes of Boy Meets World. Sister Sister was also pretty good but I never finished it. I watch the reruns sometimes. I like Mr. Bean too. It’s surprising there’s only 1 season. I have the DVDs.

Holy sh*t, I used to LOVE that show. I hated that it only had one season, because it had SO much potential.

I still remember the Goo Punch rap. Haha.

IDK I was kinds confused since most sitcoms deal with families, even if not always nuclear, and Saved By the Bell was mostly about the kids themselves. Almost no parents in sight except for the one off episode or so.

  • Drew Carey Show
  • Family Matters
  • Frasier
  • Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
  • Home Improvement
  • Perfect Strangers
  • Seinfeld

Threw in Perfect Strangers since the majority of it was in the '90s. Friends is not on my list but I consider it an honorable mention since I would only watch it casually.
