He should have sold it sooner. They were going for over $500, and close to $600 not long ago. Then when I got mine a few weeks ago, a guy selling a whole set only sold Mikey and Don the first time (at $250 each), and Leo & Raph with the relisting at the same price.

I'm just glad I got my Donatello for $250 instead of $600. And it's quite awesome. I'd love to have a set, but maybe one day far in the future.

I guessing he bought it for that much and is now trying to flip it getting the best out of it as he can

My dad thinks your crazy. He said it probably costs less than a two dollars to make it. I'm thinking Dad t t t you will never understand.

(He watched TMNT as a kid suprisingley enough.)

Well of course we're crazy. A non-John Elway fan probably wouldn't see the point in me spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on various memorabilia, pictures, cards, etc. It's all about what drives you to want what you buy. I'm sure there's something he buys that isn't the smartest.

Some people will spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on random TMNT stuff (like some people on here), and if I had the money, I probably would too.

But yes, of course I'm crazy. Aren't all collector's?

And I think it's totally tubular that your DAD reads the boards. That's awesome.

That's what I'm sayin'. He seems to be the only one selling a lot of stuff. And I guess if that's true, he can price his stuff however he wants.

I would love that messenger bag he has, and a couple of MOC figures, but his prices are REALLY out of my league.

Just kinda of a generally question. Wondering what you guys have seen the movie star turtles selling for on ebay. loose/loose complete/carded. I only ask cause i see a loose don selling for 7.00 with 7.25 shipping and still some time to go. Is that really what they're going for?

I think they're going for more than that, especially if complete. If I didn't already have mine, I'd jump on it, but it's all yours if you want to buy it. I just know the carded ones are crazy priced.

Im usually not paying much for my stuff (mostly yardsales, getting stuff for a buck) I got my movie star don when I was like 10 and remember thinking it was a bootleg cause it felt rubbery haha. But I've never found any more since then, so I guess theyre more uncommon than I've thought.

They're not exactly uncommon, per se, but they're highly sought after. Hence the prices you see. Like Donatellofan said, they usually go for more.

There's more Nick Turtles on eBay. This seller has all of the first wave figures at $18.99 each. They're overpriced but if you're impatient it's not too steep. Not my auctions!

Leonardo

Donatello

Michaelangelo

Raphael

Retro Don

Retro Leo

Retro Mikey

Retro Raph

It was revealed in the Playmates thread that they were there. I bought Leo to complete the four Turtles, then Shredder and a Foot Soldier, plus Classic Donatello. Should have them by Friday. I can't wait to do a video review of them all.

Yeah, I noticed that after I posted. Oh well.

I'll be looking forward to your video.

I'm actually very tempted. That's a lot of cash though.

Loose Leo, Don, and Mike typically go for $20 to $25 shipped so long as they have their belts. Raph seems to be the most common and usually goes for slightly less.
