Everything doesn't have to be wrapped up in a perfect little bow. The villains still being out there just means that life goes on and the turtles will still be out there to stop them.

I guess it will be more that way if the 2018 series will begin directly where the 2012 one ends.

I dont think Dr Rockwell would want to change back to a human, if he does he would lose his telekinetic abilities.

Though he isn't the only mutants with special powers, there is also Sir Malachi, a mutant with the ability to get into people's mind and create realistic looking illusions, I don't know if he wants to change back either, since he too would lose those abilities.

Those are the only two mutants that I know with special powers.

Also, Renet states in season 3 that the turtles are famous heroes known by the whole world so acceptance of Mutants by then would give alot of the mutants less reason to try and change back.

I assume Ciro figured Season 5 might be the last, so I'm sure he gave the show a proper ending.

If that were the case, you would think the show would echo that theme. It doesn't. If that was supposed to be the writers' intentions, they didn't get the point across which is bad writing. If it wasn't and they're just leaving all these dangling plot points open, it's still bad writing.

Bebop and Rocksteady I feel should be changed back since they were forcibly mutated and forced to work for Shredder. Baxter was another I felt deserved to be demutated given how he was mutated.

If any mutants are demutated, I feel Donnie should leave it up to their choice to be returned to human. Some will need to be forcibly returned due to how dangerous they are, but others they should have the choice to remain as mutants or return to human.

Agreed completely. At this point, continuing/ending the Mutagen Man plot would just be jarring as it's just been so long.

Eh, it's not any different than Newtralizer finally returning after not being seen since Season 2.

Mutagen Man should be restored. A lot of us fans have complained over him from the beginning as Pulverizer, so just restore it and it's easier to think as if it never happened.

I was glad Baxter Stockman became human again. Wish that'd happened much earlier, or never at all.
