Unmanned Voyager spaceprobes send data to Earth

In August 2012 and November 2018, unmanned spaceprobes Voyager 2 and Voyager 1 flew away from the Solar System and into interstellar space.

Now, in November 2019, Humans on Earth have recieved data, allowing scientists to learn more about the outermost parts of the Solar System.
Because of continuity and timeline errors, I've given up writing fanfiction based on the 1987-1996 animated television series. Instead, I'm trying to reboot the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story, something many other fanfiction writers already do:

That's pretty awesome, plus the fact that these things have been going and sending back data for over 40 years.
