At first I was sure they would go that route, but after seeing that not-April leak I'm confident it won't be that bad, although I can really see them going with a Knuckles design for Raph and it really pains me because Raph is MY turtle and more then anything the size is where I draw the line, even with the PD turtles, only thing that really gets under my skin is the size of them, especially Raph...

In addition to likely borrowing influence from the Bay-verse designs, I assume many of the characters will be modeled after their voice actors, to some degree. Omar Benson Miller certainly towers over his peers in the production photos!

I imagine this kinda style might be a possibility for the next "back to basics" phase of the franchise at some point after the run of Rise.

Well, don't worry until you know for sure, you've liked all 3 toons so far so hopefully you'll like something about this one even if you don't like some differences.

Edit: Thinking about the Novel thread yesterday, the book coming in Jan 19 for 8-12 year olds, though that was younger than some of us hoped for, if it is for this show then maybe the show won't be that much younger after all.

Between Big "Knuckles" Raph, No Shredder, April being Baxter's daughter, I'm not sure many people will like this new show.

What if Raph is not like "big" knuckles Raph as speculated and is more like Uganda Kunckles?

I don't get how the "huge Raph" is "almost" confirmed just by people commenting on their fears on the upcoming show. Besides, Raph and others have had huge changes before and the fanbase has survived. Well, at least the wait is more than half way over now.
