Day late, but yesterday was a long day BUT at least the dental appointment I had to go to before work went well. And the one spot they've been keeping an eye on since, like, two years ago, still hasn't changed much, so, so far so good no new fillings needed. Phew.

As for today... I've mentioned Amazon's Mturk site before a while ago (the paid surveys, etc site they run) and have dabbled with it a bit again lately just trying to make a little extra pocket money to offset the gift shopping lately. (Though I intend on making it an Amazon gift card balance to spend there.)

Did one that turned out be political and asked you to list as many reasons as you could for what they asked. Laughed when this was the next page.

So sad when 3 is a lot in this day and age.

The day was long and frikkin' exhausting, but it is done. And I have both Ceres and PrincessUtrom home with me in Ft. Worth!

Tomorrow, we'll have our actual celebration, hanging out in Southlake, but for now, I'm just happy the day is over.

So the package I never got -- and figure it may have ended up at a bad neighbor's house (or stolen, but that would be unusual) so is probably not even worth pursuing since it's not something I'd want back if they got into it -- the company offered to send me another. Really didn't expect it since it's not at all their fault.

Glad to hear it. Just had my D&D game today and we had a blast with the undead wizard they battled. And since he was TECHNICALLY the "big boss" (aka the former owner of the mansion) of the haunted house they are currently in, this game session was the "climax" of the adventure. The rest is just clean-up of the house's other former inhabitants. (Some zombies, a haunt or two, a poltergeist, a few dread wolves....)

Next game- we will be revisiting the lair of the dragon they had previously discovered a while back.

! There were some close calls to delayed graduation, but I pulled it off.

Today ended up being awesome too. The three of us got up early to be the first people into the Cheesecake Factory (since it was horrifically packed last night), then had time to use the hotel's hot tub before checking out. And watching Thor: Ragnarok. Which was fun.

Then we saw the Mustangs of Los Colinas while taking PrincessUtrom to the airport to go home.

We got wine at a grocery stop and are preparing for my first viewing of Last Mutation. Which is what the wine is for.

All and all, it was a pretty fantastic day, with lots of happy makers.

That sounds great! Those mustangs bring back some awesome memories of prom night. We had desert at the Mustang Cafe next to the Mustang pool, and then enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool at then-future hubby's parents' house.

Glad you had so much fun, and I hope the wine helped with watching Next Mutation. Next time I get the guts to try watching it again I will probably do the same lol!

The water wasn't on tonight, since it's winter. But it was still pretty cool. I haven't been there since I was little.

My mother was saying that it's built up so much more around here, with a lot more buildings than there were when she first moved to Texas in 1990. She worked near there.
