See, I thought it was KMR, and I was right. He definitely sounded like Shredder at times there. So awesome.

watched an episode of this series and I have to say it was pretty funny, but I wish they would just keep it as a DC nation short, I just dont enjoy the show as a almost straight up comedy act.

I was humming to myself while doing my work. For some reason I was humming Mother Mae Eye's tune; you know the creepy sweet humm that she does.
My friend stood up and she gave me that "is-he-****ing-mental-now?" kinda look. xD |

Aw, crud, I missed this yesterday. I totally forgot it was on. Going to have to catch the replay either tonight or Saturday. Gah, I'm so mad I missed it.

I gave it a try and I didn't like it. Too goofy for me.

Can I just say that I LOVE how the word "twat" is apparently acceptable? Always been a favorite of mine. Zarius, feel free to borrow the expanded version, "Twat-Waffle" if you ever feel like adding a little flair. I invented it, but I am thrilled when others use it as well. There haven't been any good offensive non-racial slurs in far too long, I say.
On that note, though, yeah I'll pass on this show, too. Not what I want for Titans, but others can have fun with it, if it's their cup of tea.

I think we all tease each other a fair bit around here, sometimes it just gets brutal for no reason with some folks. But I can usually tell when something's tongue-in-cheek.
It's just a bit too "zany" for me, this new show. I actually dug the older Teen Titans show for what it was, even though I didn't watch a ton of it, but to me Young Justice should have really been Teen Titans, as it had more similarities to THAT book than the YJ comics. I get why they called it that, due to the parallels they wanted to use between YJ and the JLA in the cartoon, but it was really a riff on Johns' Teen Titans run, at least the ones I saw seemed that way. Frankly, I'm just happy we're getting more DC shows. I just can't say with all enthusiasm these shows are *better* than what we had before a few years ago, but we have what we have and I hope enough people like it to ensure more DC stuff to come.

It's okay if it's not your cup of tea, Leo. That happens to all of us.
I caught the eps yesterday, and I loved them. Loved the twist in "Double Trouble" as well as Robin's struggle in "The Date." Poor guy. I highly doubt Starfire will try that again. And who's Speedy? I've never heard of him.

Me, too. Anyone complaining about this not being "dark" enough has no more room to complain.

Yeah, that was funny when they all turned into ghosts and Robin asked, "What now?"
Just saw the episode where they had to baby-sit Silkie. I loved Starfire's reaction to the Titans losing Silkie and then getting all normal when Silkie returned. I also felt sorry for that woman, though why she would fall in love with a silk worm is a little confusing. It was still funny though.

Because of this new series, I have started collecting the past Teen Titans comics (called Teen Titans Go! ironically), and they are awesome fun to read. The art is inspiring too. So far I've collected #1-#12 on my iPad. :3
