No, no... there new version is a 7" version with more articulation but quality control wasn't a factor in its production. You really need to sort through many to find one that looks good. The 18" version was released in 2004, I believe. Check it out on youtube... definitely one of my favorites.

My fave store FINALLY had some MU's from the past two sets! Unfortunately most of them were garbage, but I decided to pick up a Stevareno for the hell of it. Wish I could have nabbed a neat one like you, GK

Anybody know the diff between the recent Doom and the old one other than color?

Edit: Brodie, got your message... will reply when I'm a bit more awake.

Latest snag. The Tony figure is f**king horrible and I would have severe buyer's remorse if he hadn't been dirt cheap. I assumed they'd use the RDJ sculpt from the unreleased Iron Man 2 figure, but this... this is ridiculous.

That's Compound Hulk, a one-shot fusion between the regular ol' green Hulk and Red Hulk. The fig was an NYCC exclusive and I had a buddy pick him up for me.

Probably my last figures purchase for a while, unless I happen to stumble upon something exciting.

I'm actually kind of impressed with the Street Fighter figures. They're a lot better than they appeared from photos, and they stand well and these figures actually have the best alternate hand function of any I've ever owned (they pop right out and in again smoothly... no struggling or potential breaking, unlike even some of my bigger SF figs have had happen). I even appreciate that Seth stands quite a bit taller than El Fuerte. I picked up these two even though I'm not exactly a fan of either, because it was the only two-pack of figs that hadn't been done before. I'm a bit off-put by Seth's coloring, but apparently even an expensive Japanese statue used that color scheme o.O

The Sonic/Amy two-pack came about when I was looking for the single release of Classic Sonic. I almost went with that, but then saw one that came with Classic Amy and had to go with that. They actually stand better than my other Sonic figs I have of this scale, too.

I am VERY pleased with Eggman/Robotnik. As someone who as of a couple of years ago was bemoaning the lack of decent Eggman figures, I am excited to own this one (the only one I had prior to this was the Godawful Sonic X one that I picked up for like a buck in a Big Lots). Articulation's not amazing but for the Eggman, you really don't need it. The accompanying Eggrobos are nice but they pale in comparison to their boss, and it's tough to get the gun in their hand just right (which is why the far right one isn't carrying). Also, I honestly don't need two of 'em <.<

I haven't seen that Tony in person yet, but I'm left underwhelmed from pics. I found one Astonishing Wolvie, was going to pick him up but the paint apps were terrrrible and his arm was half removed. Obviously decided to wait.

Just picked up the 30th anniversary GI Joe Renegades Snake Eyes figure.

All the 3.75 inch figures are on sale at target this week. Marvel Universe (the one figure I wanted, Cyclops, had a shoddy paintjob so I didnt snag it), Spider-Man (didn't have the new line with Lizard and the new Venom), Cap, Iron Man, Thor, GI Joe and Star Wars.

I just purchased a "bleacher creature" Evgeni Malkin doll not too creepy to cuddle up with one of your favorite players during the game... right?

Finally tracked down a Savage Opress from the Clone Wars line. Also on sale at Target. 6.99 beats the 20+ on ebay.
