Thirdmariobros, it will be going out in a bang. No doubt the show has been excellent the entire time.. this is a good time to end it before it goes stale.

Aaaand EJO lied:

http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?id=41457

Quote:
Contrary to recent comments by actor Edward James Olmos, the fourth season of “Battlestar Galactica” may not be its last, according to producer David Eick.

"For those of you who have been paying attention over the years, this is not the first time Eddie has made an announcement about the possibility of the show's end," Eick tells SciFi Wire. "I promise you that when [executiuve producer] Ron [Moore] and I make a decision about Galactica's future, we'll let you know."
So...when in doubt...never believe a word out of Edward James Olmos' mouth.

The cast are pretty immature anyway if you know how they act in the outtakes

Aaaand they changed their minds. Seems EJO was right after all. Season 4 is indeed the final season. Unless they change their minds again.

They did'nt "change their minds", the initial denial was damage control, anyone with half a brain cell knew it was'nt going to a fifth season given how the story was developing.

Holy s*it, "Razor" sounds like it's going to tie up some loose ends from season two

Spoiler:
not to mention feature some excellent flashbacks to the original Cylon War

It took them until the final season to pull out the original series Cylons for flashbacks, wow, even better, is that members of the current series cast will be facing some of them in the flashbacks

Looks like they're gonna be pulling Lucy Lawless out of storage for at least 2 eps! Yay!

I wonder if anyone who writes for the show is a TMNT fan.

He may have been referred to by his first name maybe one time. I don't remember, but he was a pretty minor character.

He shows up again in Razor, and at the end credits it says his name is "Peter Laird".

From Comics Continuum:

http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stori...2/08/index.htm

Quote:
Sci Fi Channel on Friday announced that Battlestar Galatica will return for its fourth season on Friday, March 28 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) with back-to-back half-hour specials. The first new episode will premiere the following week, Friday, April 4 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

The first special, Battlestar Galactica: Revisited, will serve up "essential" information on the series' past three seasons, providing the uninitiated with an introduction to the characters and relationships. Galactica's executive producers, Ronald D. Moore and David Eick serve as guides, providing insights and revelations about the series.

The second special, Battlestar Galactica: The Phenomenon, is a "celebrity-studded celebration" of the show's impact on pop culture. Interviewees include Seth Green, country music's Top Male Vocalist of 2007 Brad Paisley and Talk Soup's Joel McHale.

Here's how Sci Fi describes the new season:

"As Season 4 opens, the last remnants of humanity continue their search for a new home, the thin line that separates them from the rapidly evolving Cylons is being redrawn. Galactica's crew, rocked by Starbuck¹s sudden and mysterious return from the dead -- and her claims that she has been to Earth and can lead them there -- attempts to make sense of the inexplicable. Meanwhile, four members of the fleet are still reeling from the revelation that they are Cylons and have been all along."
So.. Brad Paisley's a Trekkie (he's pals with Shatner) AND a BSG fan??? Kewl!

Seth Green? Kind of wish he'd have gone away like Tom Green.

Ooh, thanks. I hadn't seen that yet. I'm not sure I learned anything from it, but it's cool to be reminded we only have a month and a half left to go before it re-continues. I can't wait!

Spoiler:
Last week I joked in a chatroom I go to that it would be funny if the final cylon ended up being us. Guess the writers thought so to. So if Cylons were around 2000 years ago and colonized Earth....WTF is going on?

That Cylon helmet was from the original series! Which fits with the "Everything that has happened, will happen again" thing. The final 5 (well 4 of them considering Helen was killed off) remember their last life.

"Yeah...see that human looking scorch mark there? That's me!"
"I wrote the song that's been stuck in our head!"

I suppose a piece of wood could survive laying on a beach for 2000 years...

Spoiler:
ANGEL SIX: God's plan is never complete

BALTAR:Great

It didnt end with that exchange, but it darn well should have. Still, that ending montage was chilling.

Spoiler:
--The collosal final battle with The Colony

-Athena killing Boomer right after her final redemption. The Cheif is proven right about The Eights, and he maintains his eagerness to detatch himself from all women forever thanks to Tori airlocking Callie. A pity he began the cycle all over again within seconds of it being brought to a halt

-Lampkin got to be President for a day

-The revelation of the Kobal Opera House as the Cylon- projected version of the CIC.

-Cavil's dickwad suicide

-Laura brought cancer to our world, way to go. Her death was heart-wrenching all the same

-Anders' rant on perfection and guiding the fleet into the sun

-Adama walking away from his mediocre job prospects in his flashback

-The Cylon Centurions depart in the Basestar to "find themselves" The bloody cycle's going to start all over again

-Kara is what she is. An angel, the harbinger of death. The fleet abandons their way of LIFE, and Laura herself dies. Kara has acheived what she set out to do, she has no need for Earthly wants, her lover is now a star, and she belongs to them. Poetic, beutiful and approrpriate.

It's coming back, and it's not a reboot.

http://www.darkhorizons.com/esmail-s...-not-a-reboot/

Just read a Wiki on the show (the newer one, not the 70s one) and spoiled myself on the ending. Whoa. I really need to watch this show.
