Just this week I decided to try my luck hunting down all the available DVD sets for the 4Kids series from Amazon US. I already bought the Region-4 Turtles Forever DVD from Australia last month, so I figured I'd better start collecting the rest while I have the opportunity.

I noticed no one created this complete list so far, so here goes - and hopefully those of you who are still hunting for the DVD sets find the following recommendations useful:

Season 1 two-part release: $62 new (cheaper than getting volume release 1-8, but if you want the box cover spine art, then get the volume release)

1) TMNT Season 1 Part 1 (buy new = $28.88 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions)
2) TMNT Season 1 Part 2 (buy new = $32.88 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions)

Season 2 two-part release: $538 new or $324 used (too expensive to recommended, get volume release 9-14 instead)

1) TMNT Season 2 Part 1 (new set costs $184 used set costs $128 don't buy now)
2) TMNT Season 2 Part 2 (new set costs $354 used set costs $204 don't buy now)

Season 1 volume release: $87 new (recommended, has Leo + Raph box cover spine art)

1) TMNT Attack of the Mousers (Volume 1) (buy new = $24.99 + $3.99 shipping from ricksgreatdeals)
2) TMNT Meet Casey Jones (Volume 2) (buy new = $5.99 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
3) TMNT The Way of Invisibility (Volume 3) (buy new = $8.29 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
4) TMNT The Shredder Strikes (Volume 4) (buy new = $8.29 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
5) TMNT Notes From The Underground (Volume 5) (buy new = $12.39 + $3.99 shipping from Organizedsellergames)
6) TMNT Shredder Strikes Back (Volume 6) (buy new = $8.29 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
7) TMNT Return to New York (Volume 7) (buy new = $8.29 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
8) TMNT Search for Splinter (Volume 8) (buy new = $6.02 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)

Season 2 volume release: $89 some new except v12 used (recommended, has Mikey + half of Donnie box cover spine art)

1) TMNT Turtles In Space (Volume 9) (buy new = $7.75 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
2) TMNT Secret Origins (Volume 10) (buy new = $10.29 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
3) TMNT The Ultimate Ninja (Volume 11) (buy new = $8.29 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)
4) TMNT Croc Attack! (Volume 12) (new set sold out - buy used, starting from $36)
5) TMNT Battle Nexus (Volume 13) (buy new = $14.75 + $3.99 shipping from JoesDVDs)
6) TMNT City At War (Volume 14) (buy new = $8.29 + free shipping from closeoutmovies)

Season 3-4 volume release: $414 new or $205 some new except v1-v4 used (all except 3.6 are recommended, 3.1/3.2 has the other half of Donnie box cover spine art, unfortunately 3.6 is too expensive now, better to wait for price to reduce - if it ever happens)

1) TMNT Season 3.1: Alien Invasion (buy new = $49.98 + $3.99 shipping from jimsdebhonbooks, or buy used, starting from $39)
2) TMNT Season 3.2: Worlds Collide (new set costs $130 buy used set, starting from $50)
3) TMNT Season 3.3: Return of the Ultimate Ninja (new set costs $101 buy used set, starting from $26)
4) TMNT Season 3.4: Shredder's Final Countdown (buy new = $49.74 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions, or buy used, starting from $11)
5) TMNT Season 3.5: Mutants & Monsters (buy new = $10.04 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions)
6) TMNT Season 3.6: Turtles Against H.A.T.E. (new set sold out - used set costs $217 don't buy now)
7) TMNT Season 3.7: Hun on the Run (buy new = $15.04 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions)
8) TMNT Season 4 DVD (buy new = $35.38 + $3.99 shipping from ToysOnline)
9) TMNT Michelangelo's Christmas Rescue (buy new = $10.00 + $3.99 shipping from AsianZing)

Season 5 single release: $69 new (recommended)

1) TMNT Ninja Tribunal (buy new = $68.88 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions)

Season 6 two-part release: $83 new or $35 v1 new v2 used (recommended)

1) TMNT Fast Forward (Volume 1): Future Shellshock! (buy new = $13.85 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions)
2) TMNT Fast Forward (Volume 2): The Day of Awakening (buy new = $68.88 + free shipping from Outlet Promotions, or buy used, starting from $19)

Season 7 (Back to the Sewers) DVD sets were never released in the US, they were only released in Australia/New Zealand so far, but I couldn't find them anywhere while I was at Australia last month. Seems like I need a miracle to own them one day...

All in all you can expect to get everything else (except 3.6) ranging from $460 (some new some used) to $750 (all new except Croc Attack!) depending on which combination you choose. I just got all those that I recommended above for slightly south of $600 including shipping.

Now I'll just wait at a corner for my shipment to arrive...

Good luck with it, evan2000. I'd love to hunt them all down myself but unfortunately I just don't have the money.

Hopefully you'll find what you're looking for some day.
Wouldn't you know it, just a couple of days after my order got cancelled I found Season 4 Box 1 and BTTS Volume 1 Something Wicked on ebay brand new at good prices. Now ironically, I only need the last DVD of the series BTTS Volume 2 City Under Siege to complete the collection....That might take a while.

So finally, here it is my almost complete collection:

Note: For some reason the US DVD Notes from the Underground had the Australian spine art for Raph not the other side of his face, I'll have to hunt down that one and eventually the Donatello individual DVDs for the Spine Art.

Pretty spiffy. I got all the big clunky sets for the OT, so my collection is a lot less aesthetically pleasing to look at and takes up a lot more space.

Cheers Leo656! The Aus OT is only up to Season 7 though in those dvds, haven't seen a new volume since the start of the year.

I can tell that some of us are gonna be kinda pissed off if/when Nick announce a full DVD re-release for a decent price.

You're definitely right there. The OT Turtle Van Box is about $100 at the moment on Amazon. I think it was around $200 when it was first released. The 2K3 series having less seasons probably wouldn't be more than $150 absolute max.

The quality will probably be better too...you would think, but hey I've come this far with only the last BTTS to go so even if they do release the entire 2K3 series before I find it, being the crazy whackbag I am I'd still have to finish this collection anyway and buy that one too.

I can't remember how much but we blew around 90 bucks on the Ninja Tribunal disc. On that day, I had to think long and hard about what would happen if 2K3 ever got a full release, and I figured I might as well just go for it, and whatever happens happens. The sting of an empty pocket would fade far quicker than the burn of possibly never getting those episodes on DVD at all, is how I settled on it.

Just need those Back to the Sewers ones to have the whole thing. Well, I need the Season Two Vol. 1 and 2, but I already have all the episodes on the other sets, just not in the correct order. Man, I hate when they do that with shows. "Eh, just stick 'em on there in any order, nobody cares." Except everybody cares!

Yeah, I'm not even sure why they did that.

I'm seriously hoping for a more stable income so I can grab the DVDs as soon as I can. I grabbed all the ones within my price range, but now I have to worry about the expensive ones that will probably only climb in price as time goes on...

hey guys, I'm new here, I joined because of how awesome this thread is, its compiled with lots of useful information. I have a question though, I apologize if the answer is already here I haven't been able to find it:

Is the Australian DVD of Turtles Forever the same as the UK DVD in Picture Quality? The Australian can easily be ordered still, the UK is very expensive, just wondering if there were actual differences in quality. Thanks for any help!

Hm, all the Back to the Sewers episodes are on youtube from at least two different uploaders. So whoever said they're being deleted isn't the case.

Welcome aboard!

The AU DVD is in widescreen, the same as the UK DVD. So you can bet that the picture quality is on par with it too.

I was just looking at those myself. Anybody else notice how the 2K3 series on YouTube is in the wrong aspect ratio? At least it looks it to me, seems too stretched. Good thing I have them all downloaded in 4:3.

Can anyone tell me what Turtles Forever releases are uncut? Are any of them region 1? I don't want to buy an edited version.

Only the Australian and UK DVD releases are uncut and widescreen, the Australian DVD release offers English subtitles too.

The DVD release in the USA is the edited version, and letterboxed (not anamorphic widescreen).

I don't care about widescreen, just uncut. But still, sad day.
